MISYON
Nilalayon naming gamitin ang mga natatanging
karanasan at kaalaman ng iba’t ibang pagkat et-
niko at kultural na komunidad upang isulong ang
kalusugang pangkaisipan (mental health).
Our mission is to utilize the unique experiences and
knowledge of culturally and ethnically diverse com-
munities in support of mental health.
ADHIKAIN
Nais naming bumuo ng mga komunidad kung
saan ang bawat kasapi—anuman ang kulturang
kinalakihan o pinanggalingan—ay may kalidad na
pamumuhay, nakararanas ng hustisya at patas na
pagturing, may kalayaan mula sa diskriminasyon,
at tumatanggap ng mga serbisyo at suportang
naayon sa sariling wika at kultura.
We envision communities where consumers and
family members from all cultures have quality of
life, justice and fair treatment, are free from stigma
associated with mental health, and are empowered
to provide and receive linguistically and culturally
competent services, resources and support.
Mga Layunin
ng ECCAC
EDUCATION
We offer Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training
for consumers, healthcare providers, and those
that would benefit from an education course re-
lated to mental illness. MHFA is a 12-hour course
taught by certified county community partners.
Instruction and course materials are free.
Nagututro kami ng Mental Health First Aid
(MHFA), isang libreng pagsasanay tungkol sa mga
karamdamang pangkaisipan. Mainam ito para sa
mga may pinagdaraanan, mga nagbibigay ng ser-
bisyong medikal (healthcare providers), at lahat ng
maaring makinabang sa kursong tungkol sa ka-
lusugang pangkaisipan. Tumatagal ng labindala-
wang oras (12 hours) ang pagsasanay at tinuturo
ng mga sertipikadong instruktor.
“Sometimes, the
best first aid is
you. Take the
course, save a
life, strengthen
your community.”
INDIVIDUAL FAMILY SUPPORT
We have family partners who can provide individ-
ual attention through home visits, guidance, and
sharing of resources.
Maaring magbigay ng indibidual na suporta ang
aming mga katuwang sa pamamagitan ng home
visits, pagbibigay ng patnubay, at pagbabahagi ng
impormasyon at kaalaman.
TELEPHONE SUPPORT
We have bilingual phone support staff who can
provide information and referrals such as medical,
legal, social welfare, and mental health re-
sources.
Bihasa sa Inggles at Filipino ang aming mga tauhan
at maari silang mag-abot ng impormasyon at refer-
ral na inyong kinakailangan. Tumawag lamang sa
aming mga telepono.
ADBOKASIYA
Sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang gawain tulad ng
seminars, workshops, health fairs, focus groups, at
pagsasalin ng mga educational materials, sinisi-
kap naming dagdagan ang kamalayan ng mga
Filipino sa kalusugang pangkaisipan at bawasan
ang bahid na nakata-
li sa mga
karamdamang
pangkaisipan
(mental illness).
By We seek to in-
crease mental health awareness and decrease stig-
ma on mental illness through regular program ac-
tivities, including seminars, workshops, health fairs,
