Welcome to BassoonapaloozaFebruary 28, 2015

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome participants and bassoon HQWKXVLDVWVWRWKHYHU\ÀUVW%DVVRRQDSDORR]DKRVWHGE\WKH)DFXOW\RI0XVLFDWthe University of Toronto.

A great deal of time, careful planning and effort has gone into creating an event that will not only teach and inspire, but will continue to develop the sense of a bassoon community.

As the largest faculty of music in Canada with roughly 900 students, the University of Toronto has a broad range of degrees, with many specializations, based in many different kinds of music. We suggest you visit our new website and have a look around: https://music.utoronto.ca/ While you are there, visit the CONCERTS & EVENTS tab. There will certainly be something in the hundreds of concerts produced each year (many which are free) that you might want to attend.

Congratulations to Nadina Mackie Jackson and her team on making this day a reality. From all of us at the UofT Faculty of Music, we hope you have a great day of learning, listening, inspiration and connecting.

Sincerely,

Gordon FooteAssociate Dean, Performance and Public Events
