Costume Ideas• The girls in my magazine will wear costume that reflects and highlights that their fun and

feminine. Bright colours and blacks will be worn to reflect the fun genre of pop, attract the audience, and show that they want to make an impact. The girls will be wearing heels to create legs that go on forever, and show glances of admiration. This footwear also makes the girls appear statuesque, confident and dominant. Jewellery will be teamed with these outfits to show their feminine side, and create a modern and fun look, adding to their quirkiness, and to their personalities.

• The style of the band is fun and flirty. The band will show some elements of co-ordination within their costume choices; there styles will match; they’ll all have bright colours matched with blacks to show they’re serious, but all like having fun. However, each member of the band will wear her own version of the style to emphasise her individuality, and encourage fans of the band to embrace their own uniqueness as well. Comfortable shoes will be worn, to show there more casual and youthful side.

• The males in my magazine will wear casual clothes to relate to their audience and reflect their youth, but also show they have a more serious side, and this shows that he is serious about his career.

The main artist on my magazine will wear a red dress; it will be fairly short to show her confidence and youthfulness, however, it won’t be revealing. I chose for her to wear a red dress because this is a bright colour and it is common in the genre of pop because of its connotations of love.

The band are all wearing bright colours, teamed with black, for example, a yellow top with a black skirt, an orange dress with black tights and a pink top with blue leggings. The male member is wearing a smart outfit, showing his leadership of the band, and his dominance. This shows that they’re a band, but they all have their own style choices.
