RESEARCH

These are my initial ideas into what my two female models could wear to fit into my sub

genre

In my opinion Kate looks similar to Florence Welch especially as they have similar hair colour. Kate is also similar to Florence welch in the way that she dresses as Kate likes to make a statement with what she wears. I want to include vintage items and floral patterns

I quite like this top and you can wear this in two ways the first way could be just on its own or you could wear it with a white shirt underneath it. Which is what I would use for Kate.

OUTFIT 1 - KATE

I would also add a leather jacket to the look as this is a popular alternative for most female rock and roll stars.

The final elements I would add to this look are one, a pair a of black skinny jeans, a pair of ankle boots and maybe a vintage broach to add to the collar of the white shirt.

OUTFIT 2 - KATEThe second outfit I would like to design for Kate is a much more dressy outfit but it still fits into the casual category that I am trying to meet .

This outfit is a lot easier to put together as it doesn’t consist of many items. However I still think that it looks good.

The first item of clothing is a playsuit which is in a daisy print I like this as it fits with my floral vibe.

I would then add a vintage Levi denim jacket to the look because it makes it look more casual.

I also think that the ankle boots from the previous outfit would go considerably well with the outfit I have put together.

As Colleen looks quite similar to the rock band HAIM so I am going to

follow there sense of fashion. Which is a sort of grungy but still girly look.

OUTFIT 1 - COLLEENI know that Colleen likes to wear crop tops and they also look good o her so I think this is an item of clothing that I could incorporate into my outfit.

I would dress Colleen in a crop top, that was similar to these two ,as I like the colours and I think they would look good against Colleen’s skin tone and go with her colour also I think a black crop top would also

look good.

I also think that a pair of high waisted jeans could look effective to achieve the look I am

going for.

I think that acid washed jeans are appropriate for this because they add a little extra character to the look I’m not sure

I like these boots and I think that they go with the outfit well they

are similar to the boots in Kates outfit but I don’t think that matters to much .

For accessories I would add this atlas necklace

what shade of jeans I want for my outfit yet because I am not sure which colour for a crop top I like best.

OUTFIT 2 - Colleen

I like this playsuit for Colleen I like it because it has a high neck so it is not very revealing, however it has an open back which adds a little extra to the look. Its something that will look good on Colleen as she has long legs so this playsuit would exaggerate this.

I like these shoes with this outfit because they still enable the outfit to look casual but not too casual

I also have the option to add more accessories to this outfit my first accessory I could add is a large floppy hat which has potential to complete and outfit.

My second accessorie is a pair of white socks with a cute little black bow on it. I like these because they make the look more girly.

Props

Gretsch electric guitars are quite popular and they

are very Rock’n’Rolly

The microphone is a good prop if I was to use one then I would prefer it if it was on a

stand.Drum sticks also look good as a prop for my models to use

If I had a large amp then maybe my models could sit on or around it.
