This year we have taken steps to improve our openness and transparency by publishing a range of metrics that relate directly to our CSR targets. This is the first stage of a longer term plan concerning our CSR reporting which further cements our commitment to fulfil our responsibilities to a sustainable, networked society in line with our corporate vision. For environmental reporting, Fujitsu has implemented an online carbon accounting solution that provides a central repository of all carbon emissions data. Relevant data and emission sources, for all sites and reporting entities within the operational boundary of Fujitsu, are included within the system in line with the required scope of our corporate carbon footprint. The data and emission sources covers Energy (Electric and Gas) and Business Travel (Road, Air and limited rail), in alignment with recognised reporting methodologies such as Defra and the GHG Protocol. We have currently reported all data using the DEFRA2009 protocols.
