Alam El Phan, established in 1971, was originally a physical distribution company for music production companies in the Arab region. In a short period the company expanded to include music production as well as physical distribution.

Today Mazzika Group’s primary operations include the ownership and operation of music and entertainment television channels, recorded music production and distribution, music catalogue management, Artists Management, Digital Distribution, added value services to mobile telephony systems, and content publishing.

Through the consolidation of its diverse assets, the Group aims to maximize content synergies through cross promotion and expansion of distribution channels.

Mazzika Group is a vertically integrated multi-content entertainment group in the Arab world focusing on the repackaging and distribution of Arabic content to Arabic-speaking communities and audiences interested in Arab-related content throughout the world.

Mazzika owns and operates two satellite music channels; Mazzika tv & Zoom, broadcasting on NileSat since April 2003, covering the regions of the Middle East, North Africa, GCC countries, North America And Australia.

Alam El Phan, a Mazzika subsidiary, is considered the major and leading music production company in the Arab world. All content released by Alam El-Phan is performed by the Arab world’s best-selling artists.Mazzika Digital, another Mazzika subsidiary, operates added value services to mobile telephony systems (Interactive voice response, SMS, MMS…etc. ) and digital distribution including the establishment and operation of new media over the internet and new mobile generations.Stars for Art a further addition to Mazzika subsidiaries is music catalogue management company consisting of a priceless collection of music catalogues compiled by Mazzika through it’s own production as well as its acquisition of catalogues produced since the 50’s by prominent production companies.Mazzika owns and manages the biggest and most extensive Arabic music repertoire, with a market share of more than 70%.

• Background:

– Established in April’03, Mazzika was founded to cater for Arab youth’s musical entertainment.

– Mazzika targets youth between the ages of 18-25 belonging to the B & C+ social class, and covers 75% of the Arabic speaking communities.

– Mazzika is managed by a team with over thirty years of experience in the music industry, fully aware of it’s target’s cultural, and psychological identity, Mazzika set the “know-how” for satisfying its targets needs through the individuality of its content.

• Content:

– Video Clips: Mazzika presents the latest and most up to date hits by the Arab worlds most renowned music stars such as Amr Diab, Ragheb Allama, and Samira Saeed

– International Concerts: Exclusive coverage of the most notorious international stars performances world wide which include Ricky Martin, Shaggy, and Enrique Eglasies to name a few.

– Arabic Concerts: Special coverage of the best concerts performed by big hits like Tamer Hosny,Mostafa Amar, and Nancy Agram.

– Programs: Exclusive in depth interviews with some of the most prominent international stars, such as Massari, Ricky Martin, and Craig David. Music programs bringing the audience up to date on all that’s happening in the international and Arab world of music as it happens.

• Background:

– Launched in 2005, Zoom positioned itself as a full fledged entertainment channel, focused less on video clips and more on a unique selection of signature programs reflecting the channel’s personality statement “3al Makshoof”.

– Zooms targets the age group between 15-35 from the A,B, and C+ Class. Through this diversification in age and class, Zoom’s mission is to position itself in the mind of it’s audience as an uncensored reflection of the public’s interest. Thus comes the channel’s slogan “3al Makshoof”.

– Channel content is based on programs and 30% video clips. Programs varying from entertainment news coverage, and field reports from the most important social events to exclusive star interviews with a twist.

– Video Clips: Zoom broadcasts all time favorites of the Arab world’s most outstanding artists from the 80’s up to this date.

– Programs: Zoom presents a diverse range of programs ranging between one-on-one interviews (Sahra Ma3 Nefm, Dardasha, and Negm 3l Makshoof), fashion (3al Moda), news and updates.

– Specials: Zoom’s coverage of prominent events; pageants, fashion shows, as well as independent interviews with major contributors in the music field.

− The choice of artist is based on the vision of a team of experts specialized in the field for over 30 years.

− Currently the department manages 3 exceptional talents; Mahmoud El Esseily,Karim Abou Zeid,and Samo Zein.

− Artist management is responsible for promoting, and marketing the artist. it also has the power over every aspect of the stars career decision making, unconditionally serving the stars best interest.

− It is responsible for every career detail starting from choice of lyrics, song titles, video clip, and styling to concerts, movies and commercials.

− Alam El Phan:

− The Groups first production company, started in the early 70’s as a physical distribution company that later expanded to include music production. Alam El Phan Production is dedicated to cater for superstars, some calibers include Warda, Amr Diab, Ragheb Alama, and Nawal E l Zoghbi.

− Mazzika Production:

− A recent addition to the Group’s production and physical distribution operations focused on a younger caliber of artists some of which are Shaza, Karim Abou Zeid, and Khalid Selim.

− FARASAN:

− Our rep office in Saudi Arabia formerly known as Rotana, FARASAN is in charge of Gulf content circulation and acquisition. In addition to that it is the Groups physical distribution office covering the GCC region (Gulf Council Countries).

− Founded in…., Stars For Art was established as a music library for the Groups music production content in addition to priceless music catalogues purchased from other production companies since the early 50’s to ’02.

− Through Stars For Art the Group purchased the trademark and catalogues of the most important music production companies in Egypt and the Arab World of which are Sout El Hob, Sout El Phan,and Miramar.

− This compilation of content translates to the Groups attainment of approximately 70% of musical content available in the market todasy.

− The musical content from Sout El Phan,Alam El Phan, and voice of Lebanon translates to the complete work of legends such as, Abd El Halim, Mohamed Abd El Wahab, Warda, Farid El Atrash, and Sabah. In addition to the entire collection of Abd EL Halim’s movies.

− The music catalogues of Golden Cassette, Sout El Hob, Miramar, Masr For Art, and Alam El Phan combined is equivalent to 90% of music produced since the 70’s up to ’02.

− Stars For Art purchased the rights of all the compositions by some of Egypt and the Arab World’s most celebrated composers, for instance, Riyad El Hamshari, Baleigh Hamdi, Mohamed Abd El Wahab, and Mohamed EL Mougy.

− Stars For Art actual treasusre lies in its acquisition of the timeless catalogues of the legendary Om Kolthoum, which is by far more precious than all other catalogues combined.
