Buddy expanded the appeal of Kiawah

Island by leading the creation of Freshfields

Village and the development of The

Lodge at Doonbeg Golf Club in County

Clare, Ireland. His team is now focused on

Christophe Harbour, a 2,500-acre resort

community on the island of St. Kitts in the

pre-date the formation of

Kiawah Partners. He served as

Charleston County attorney

and president of the Charleston

Lawyers Club when Kiawah’s

the Kuwait Investment Company

was negotiated in 1975. Since its

formation in 1988, Leonard has

been instrumental in all major

Kiawah Partners transactions,

in-house design initiatives,
