CONTENTS
Royal Voluntary Service is a volunteer organisation that enriches the lives of older people and their families across Britain.
We support older people by giving time and practical support to help them get the best from life. Our volunteers —ordinary men and women of all ages and ethnicities — love spending time with older people. Through them, we want to help create a society where everyone feels valued and involved whatever their age.
We believe old age should be celebrated, and we should: we’re 75 years old this year and still going strong!

CUSTOMER SUPPORT VOLUNTEERS AN EXCITING NEW SERVICE OFFERED BY ROYAL VOLUNTARY SERVICE.
When an older person first comes to us, we have a conversation to find out what simple practical things might make life better. One of our trained volunteers can arrange a visit either at home or in the community to have a friendly chat about you!
Everyone’s different, so the support we offer is personal and tailored to each individual. This might be support to keep active, something practical, help with finding the right person to talk to or available services, enjoying activities or keeping connected with friends, family and the community. Once we’ve had a chat about what would make a difference, we agree what’s achievable and put a support plan in place with you.
We revisit after an agreed to time to see if the support has made a difference and if your requirements have changed.
To book a visit from a Customer Support Volunteer, please contact 01295 264 214 or e-mail [email protected].
