I know that you are all doing the best you can and I thank you for your connued efforts in supporng the school and your children through this difficult period. I understand that families are keen for students to return to school as soon as possible and our Coral Park staff are looking forward to returning and teaching from school every day too. Unfortunately I have no informaon to share on when we will be able to return to onsite learning and that is disappoinng for everyone. As an educator I have been reluctant to embrace online live lessons as I have had many concerns about privacy issues, for both our staff and for you and your families. Due to the extended period of remote learning and ongoing lockdown restricons, the leadership team have been consulng with our colleagues and have decided to trial some live sessions. We are working very hard to ensure that we have very strict procedures and protocols to protect all parcipants, and that parcipang in online live lessons is an easy process. More informaon will come via email in the near future. Please take care of yourselves, your friends and your families and remember that the school is just a phone call or email away. Although we may not be able to resolve any issues you have, we are able to listen and perhaps offer suggesons or advice on where to access any support you may require. Thank you to all the staff who are working extremely hard during this period in me and to all of our parents, carers and older brothers and sisters who are supporng our students with their studies. I hope that you are all managing as well as possible and staying safe. I know that you are all doing the best you can and I thank you for your continued efforts in supporting the school and your children through this difficult period.

I understand that families are keen for students to return to school as soon as possible and our Coral Park staff are looking forward to returning and teaching from school every day too. Unfortunately I have no information to share on when we will be able to return to onsite learning and that is disappointing for everyone.

As an educator I have been reluctant to embrace online live lessons as I have had many concerns about privacy issues, for both our staff and for you and your families. Due to the extended period of remote learning and ongoing lockdown restrictions, the leadership team have been consulting with our colleagues and have decided to trial some live sessions. We are working very hard to ensure that we have very strict procedures and protocols to protect all participants, and that participating in online live lessons is an easy process. More information will come via email in the near future.

Please take care of yourselves, your friends and your families and remember that the school is just a phone call or email away. Although we may not be able to resolve any issues you have, we are able to listen and perhaps offer suggestions or advice on where to access any support you may require.

Thank you to all the staff who are working extremely hard during this period in time and to all of our parents, carers and older brothers and sisters who are supporting our students with their studies.

During week five of home learning Bill and Mr Lawson sent students an Olympic Challenge, consisting of 4 activities to complete: Speed Jumping, The Backyard 10, The Shoe Target and the Rebounder Minute. There have been an amazing number of students completing the Olympic Challenge and sending through their certificates which is inspiring and it is rewarding to see the Coral Park community staying active during Stage 4 lockdown.

Get UP and GET MOVING!

Children should get at least 60 minutes of physical activity a day.

Participate in the Olympic Challenge to keep active at home!

At the end of Week 6, the students who were learning onsite were rewarded for their determination to complete set work and for showing respect to themselves and others. They got to have a bit of fun with Shoe Target games from the Olympic Challenge. There were many skills learned, records broken and laughs had. The most accurate on the day were Jaxson, Chace, Jacob, Vanessa, Alana, Mannat and Adam.

During week 6 of Remote Learning, the Year Fives went on a virtual tour of Australia Zoo with Robert Irwin. As we are currently learning about Area and Perimeter, students were given the exciting task of designing their very own zoo. They did an awesome job and provided some very spacious enclosures for the animals.
