CHAMPIONSHIPS
Division 1 and 2 The National University Championships hosted by UniSport Australia is the premier university sporting event on the intervarsity calendar, with 42 Universities from across Australia competing in over 30 sports to determine who will be crowned the overall winner. UC has had a strong representation at previous Nationals events and are determined to continue that strong run into the future. By joining Team UC, you will have the opportunity to develop your sporting skills all whilst making friends and travelling around Australia. The memories and friends that you make while part of Team UC will stay with you longafter you have finished your study at UC. The National University Championships are split into two competitions, Division 1 held in September/October and Division 2 held in July. Both events in 2019 will be held on the Gold Coast. If you are a UC student and love your sport, then joining Team UC is a must. Trials for all Nationals events will be held throughout the year so make sure you stay in touch with UC Sport so you don’t miss out!

INTERVARSITY
In addition to the National University Championships, UC Sport regularly competes in a range of Intervarsity events. These events are held both locally and interstate, and are a chance for students to represent the uni on a smaller scale. Our biggest Intervarsity event is our annual clash with ANU. Held in March, this event puts University pride on the line as Canberra’s two premier institutions battle it out on the sporting field. Contesting 14 sports, there is something for everyone to get involved with. Trials for the clash with ANU will begin mid February, so make sure you stay in touch with UC Sport so you don’t miss out. Intervarsity events are usually free or at minimal cost, so there is something available for everyone!
