Hey  neck/es!  Why  are  you  stealing  our  “once-­‐in-­‐a  life  /me  show”?  ??  We  are  the  colors  of  academic  achievement!!  And  you  pale  us

Tell  me.  Have  you  ever  been  out  of  the  coat-­‐  free  and  dangling?

You  should  stay  inside  the  coat.  More  so  inside  the  robe.                                      Know  your  place,  neck/es.                                        

See  how  nice  these  gents  look

We  graduants  are  not  required  to  wear  suits.    So  our  neck/es  just    

stand  out.    Any  problem?  

In  that  case,  there  are  2  things  to  do

Enforce  dress  code.  Just  like  this  University  where  men  are  required  

to  wear                                                                                      dark lounge suit with neck-tie  

1.  Academic Attire : Graduands must wear complete graduation attire (gown, hood and mortarboard) for the ceremony  2. Graduand Dress Code:  (a) Men : dark lounge suit with neck-tie.  (b) Women : presentable attire for official functions.   3. Guest Attire: Lounge suit, national dress, batik or office attire Reminders: Please dress neatly and appropriately. However, the followings are strictly prohibited:  (a) Tight-fitting attire  (b) Slippers and sandals  (c) T-shirts  (d) Jeans and shorts  

The University has the right to refuse entry to any graduand and guest who is not appropriately dressed.

Or  adopt    “No  suit,  No  /e”  

 policy  

That’s  fine  with  me.                                      I  don’t  have  a  suit.  And  

the  weather's    hot  anyway

If  some  people  are  paying  a_en/on  to                                  “not  more  than  2  inches  of  skin”  above  the  knee                                                    

in  everyday  campus  life…..

If  some  people  are  paying  a_en/on  to                                  “not  more  than  2  inches  of  skin”  above  the  knee                                                    

in  everyday  campus  life…..  

we  should  be  paying  much  more  a_en/on  to                    16  or  so  inches  of  cloth  in  the  neck                                                                    during  the  Convoca/on  Ceremony!
