7. ACCUNET T1.5 SERVICES'

7.1 GENERAL

An ACCUNET T1.5 Service provides for the transmission of 1.544 Mbpsdigital signals over terrestrial channels.

An ACCUNET T1.5 Service uses one of two types of DS1 signal formats.They are:

- A framed DS1 signal format (D4 or ESF), and

- An unframed DS1 signal format for U.S. Government Agencies only.

Customers (except U.S. Government Agencies and others furnishingservice to U.S. Government Agencies) are required to select either D4format or where available, the Extended Superframe (ESF). The D4format is described in Technical Publication-PUB 62411 and ESF isdescribed in Technical Publication-PUB 54016, (see TechnicalPublication Information, Preface, Sheet 5). U.S. Government Agenciesmay obtain ACCUNET T1.5 Services free from any format constraint bynotifying the Company of such an election at the time service isordered.

7.1.1 DESCRIPTION

ACCUNET T1.5 Services are configured by furnishing officefunctions or by combining components to connect two AT&T CentralOffices. AT&T Central Offices may be within the same LATA or maybe located in different LATAs. ACCUNET T1.5 Services arefurnished on a two-point basis only.

8. ACCUNET T45 SERVICES'

8.1 GENERAL

ACCUNET T45 Services provide for the transmission of 44.736 Mbpsdigital signals.

ACCUNET T45 Services use a framed DS3 signal format. When used tocarry multiplexed DS1 Channels, the signal carried within the framedDS3 format must contain Extended Superframe Formatted DS1 channels,to a maximum of 28.

8.1.1 DESCRIPTION

ACCUNET T45 Services are configured by combining servicecomponents at designated AT&T Central Offices. ACCUNET T45 InterOffice Channels are furnished on a two-point basis only.

8.1.2 SIGNALS AT THE AT&T CENTRAL OFFICE

All signals carried by local channels or other access andpresented to the AT&T Central Offices must meet certain signaland format constraints. These constraints are described in thefollowing Technical Publications (see Technical PublicationInformation, Preface, Sheet 5).

9. ACCUNET SPECTRUM OF DIGITAL SERVICES' (T)

9.1 GENERAL

ACCUNET Spectrum of Digital Services (ASDS) affords a Customer theopportunity to select channels at various digital speeds for end-to-end communications arrangements when connected to access orappropriate office functions. ASDS offers point-to-point and multi-point connections between specified AT&T Central Offices in the Stateof Texas.

9.1.1 DESCRIPTION

ASDS is suitable for the transmission of digitally-encoded voiceband signals or simultaneous two-way transmission of data atsynchronous speeds of 9.6, 56 or 64 kbps. (See TechnicalPublication Information, Preface, Sheet 5)

9.1.2 REGULATIONS

In addition to the regulations in this schedule, Sections 2 and13, the following apply.

A. AVAILABILITY OF ASDS

ASDS is available from the AT&T Central Offices listed as ASDSCentral Offices in the AT&T Business Service Guide located athttu://,,aww.att.com/servicecxiiide/business. ASDS may not beavailable in every LATA or to all rate center areas within a LATAand is dependent on the availability of suitable access.

B. CREDIT ALLOWANCES FOR INTERRUPTIONS

For purposes of determining credit allowances, in accordance withthe regulations in Section 2.7 preceding, ASDS is considered to beinoperative when there has been a loss of continuity, or when 300or more seconds of transmission errors occur in a 15-minuteperiod.

10.1 GENERAL10. DATAPHONE DIGITAL SERVICES1,2 (T)

A DATAPHONE Digital Service is suitable for the simultaneous two-waytransmission of data at synchronous speeds of 2.4 kbps, 4.8 kbps, 9.6kbps and 56.0 kbps.

10.1.1 DESCRIPTION

DATAPHONE Digital Services are configured by combining componentsto connect two or more AT&T Central Offices. AT&T CentralOffices may be within the same LATA or may be located indifferent LATAs. DATAPHONE Digital Services may be two-point ormultipoint.

10.1.2 REGULATIONS

In addition to the regulations in Section 2 preceding, thefollowing apply.

A. AVAILABILITY OF A DATAPHONE DIGITAL SERVICE

DATAPHONE Digital Services are available from the AT&T CentralOffices listed in the AT&T Business Service Guide located athttp://www.att.com/serviceguide/business. DATAPHONE DigitalServices may not be available in every LATA or to all rate centerareas within a LATA.

B. CREDIT ALLOWANCES FOR INTERRUPTIONS

For purposes of determining credit allowances, in accordance withthe regulations in Section 2.7 preceding, a DATAPHONE DigitalService is considered to be inoperative when:

- There has been a loss of continuity, or

- The error performance is below the design objective 99.5% error-free-seconds, measured over a continuous 24-hour period.

Note 1: AT&T DATAPHONE DIGITAL SERVICE may no longer be ordered after (T)June 25, 2001. Existing customers with AT&T DATAPHONE DIGITALSERVICE in effect or on order prior to June 25, 2001 may continuetheir current service under existing conditions.

12. MISCELLANEOUS FUNCTIONS AND ARRANGEMENTS' (T)

12.1 GENERAL

This section contains miscellaneous functions and arrangements thatare provided for use with private line services offered under thisschedule.

12.1.1 REGULATIONS

In addition to the regulations in Section 2 preceding, thefollowing applies.

A. MINIMUM PAYMENT PERIOD

Unless otherwise specified for an individual case, miscellaneousfunctions and arrangements are furnished for a minimum paymentperiod of one month.

12.2 RESERVED FOR FUTURE USE

12.3.2 1 X N CONTROL ARRANGEMENT

This arrangement enables the Customer to control up to 48switching or transfer functions (e.g., switching or transferarrangements to switch or transfer channels of ACCUNET Spectrumof Digital Services (ASDS) at an AT&T Central Office) via aremote keyboard terminal capable of either 300 or 1200 bpsoperation.

Access to the Control Arrangement requires an appropriate channel(e.g., local exchange line).

The Control Arrangement must be located in the same AT&T CentralOffice as the switching or transfer functions which it controls.

13. ADDITIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE AND OPERATIONAL FUNCTIONSI (T)

13.1 GENERAL

This section contains the rates and regulations for AdditionalAdministrative and Operational Functions that may apply in connectionwith the installation, operation and maintenance of a private lineservice. The additional functions will be provided only whenspecifically ordered or requested by the Customer.

All of the Additional Administrative and Operational Functions aresubject to the availability of personnel and equipment. Infurnishing these functions, the Company does not assume anyadditional responsibility for the through transmission of signalsbeyond that set forth in the following:

The Company is responsible for engineering, operating and maintainingthe private line services it provides. It is also responsible forthe quality of transmission or signaling on private line services itprovides.

13.2 FUNCTIONS AND CHARGES

13.2.1 TESTING FUNCTIONS

At the Customer's request, the Company will review test resultsand participate with the Customer in a design review, technicalanalysis or testing.

A. REVIEW OF OTHER ACCESS TEST RESULTS

At the Customer's request, the Company will review the results oftests of a Customer-provided access which is connected to aprivate line service. (The Customer must arrange for thoseresults to be furnished to the Company.) Where appropriate, theCompany will recommend additional tests to be performed on theCustomer-provided access.

Review of test results will only be provided when the Customeragrees, in advance, to pay the charges for the review.

The Review of Other Access Test Results are as specified in thePrice List.
