When the piping capacity between the selector valve and actuators is large, add the capacity.②Multiply the calculated air consumption by 1.4, and select a model having a max. throughput flow rate higher than the obtained value.The chart shows the values obtained by multiplying the air consumption of pneumatic cylinders by 1.4. Use the chart for selecting a model.

●The sound deadening effect refers to the difference between the sound generated from the orifice when exhaust is fed at the max. throughput flow rate at a pressure of 0.5 MPa and the sound generated when the muffle cleaner is installed under the same conditions (1 m from the sound source).
●When MFC2-20 is used at 1600 ℓ/min (ANR),the back pressure is 0.05 MPa.
The muffle cleaner has two functions: it removes oil content from actuators, valves and compressed air and absorbs exhaust sound.When exhaust is concentrated as shown above, the working environment can be made cleaner.
