becomes part of the Bidding Documents. Work or material not specifically

mentioned herein is to be as described in the main body of the specifications and

as shown on the drawings.

QUESTIONS:

1. The DelDOT permit is expired, do you have an updated one?

The Contractor must obtain a new safety permit from the DelDOT Central

District Office in order to overlay the apron of the existing entrance along Kenton

Road. No works shall occur in the DelDOT’s right-of-way without the proper

permit and maintenance of traffic (MOT).

2. If we cover the grating on the deck of the boardwalks can we use them or we going to

have temporary bridging over the wetlands?

As noted in the previous addendum, the proposed boardwalks must not be utilized

to construct any portions of the project.

3. Can we use Ideal Group helical anchors for bidding or do you need to see the shop

drawings first, if soon I need to asap to get them to you by Sept 5.

The helical anchors can be by A.B. Chance or approved equal, and the shop

drawings for the helical anchors must be submitted for review and approval

during the construction of the project, and after the project is awarded and the

Notice to Proceed (NTP) has been issued to the contractor.

4. We have check on the WT8x33.5 Pier Cap and it may take up to 8 weeks to get. Also,

rectify whether Pier Cap as noted in Detail 5/S1.2 on plansheet C-10 is going to be

welded of bolted?

The Pier Cap is going to be welded as noted in the detail, and the contractor

should complete the project within the allotted time.

5. On the Bid Form, the description note for Alternate 1 is confusing. Can more information

be provided? Also, rectify if the Unit Price for the Helical Anchor – Type 1 is linear feet?

The Bid Form has been revised to reflect the changes to the referenced items, and

it is enclosed for your use.

6. Would it be posable for the DNREC to change the pressure treatment from salt water to

fresh water or ground contract?

Parks does not intend to deviate from the salt water pressure treatment noted on

the plan.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Specification Section 004113, Bid Form: The Bid Form was revised to include rectification to

the description for Alternate I and the Unit Price for the helical anchors.
