The supply of molten aluminium alloy is solidified by caster rolls which are internally water cooled. PINCH ROLL is hydraulic actuated telescoping table that receives aluminium strip continuously. The EDGE TRIMMER is part of casting line and it trims both sides of the aluminium strip. It consists of one base, two independent trimmers heads and conveyor system. SCRAP CONVEYOR SYSTEM Scraps from the star choppers fall via guide chutes onto a scrap conveyor, which carries the trim out of the line. The WINDER is an overhung mandrel type, it is being used for winding the finished aluminium strips and to keep tension with the winder back through the strip to the casting nip. SHEARING SYSTEM is die cutting, a process which cuts aluminium strips without the formation of chips.
