Assessment Regulations

Curriculum and Assessment Sector www.moe.gov.ae
Assessment is one of the important means used in the educational field that aims to guide
the educational process and know hoe far it succeeds and is able to meet future
challenges, whether it assesses the curriculum, its content and objectives, or judges the
teaching techniques and methods chosen by the teacher to implement the curriculum,
and the extent of knowledge, skills, attitudes acquired by learners, and diagnoses difficulti
es encountered by the teacher and the learner during the educational process.
Assessment incorporates the educational process parties as an important and essential
link in every step of the process. It contributes to discovering teachers’ and learners' level
s, abilities and preparations, and provides the educational process parties with the tools
and data necessary to achieve the desired outcomes of the process.
