His great desire was that, the girls who enter the portals of this Temple of Learning should leave itas “Nirai Nangaiyar” - ‘the perfect women’ and to encourage and enlighten the students for excellence in highereducation and research. The institutionis having AICTE - MCA and MHRD sponsored Diploma in Sanskrit under Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, the CentralSanskrit university, New Delhi.
The NAAC - IQAC after 2nd cycle established 5 deans for Curriculam, Training, Rural, Welfare and Extensionservices. The institution has also established Institution Innovation council (IIC) under MHRD, NISP, NDLI, UBAand ISRO - IIRA.

Education according to Swami Vivekananda is “the manifestation of perfection which is already there inman” and the only service to be carried out is to give that education by which character is formed, strength of mindis increased, and the intellect is expanded, by which one can stand on one’s own leg. Mahatma Gandhi’s views oneducation are always focussed on all round education not just literacy and he emphasised on the development of achild as a whole, not just the mind. Harbingers of the renaissance India are the above two Global-Indian personalitiesin the modern age who have known the life current of India in its true perspective.
In this institution, the student soars stage by stage from individualism to universalism. While progressingtowards the goal, she expands from selfishness to selflessness, subordinates pleasure seeking to perfection seeking, substitutes craving for education, sterling in character, keen in intelligence, able in execution, perfect in socialbehaviour, bright in the faculty of understanding, universal in love of beings and unswerving in the discharge of theduties. The students exhibit positive learning outcomes namely increased creativity and innovation, critical thinkingand higher order thinking skills, problem solving abilities, team work, communication skills, deeper learning andmastery of curricula across fields, with an increase in social, moral, self, general and specific awareness with crossdisciplinary and inter disciplinary understanding.

TRUTH IS GOD
Jenifer Sandhiya.SI B.Sc., Chemistry
There lived a farmer who had four cows. Among the four, there is a cow named Nachiammai. Nachiammai had a small littlecalf which is brown and white and looks beautiful.
One day, when the four cows went for eating grass, there came a tiger which is very hungry and eagerly waiting to eat at leastone cow. Seeing the arrival of tiger, the four cows started running. But the tiger keep on following the cows. The three cowsescaped from the tiger but Nachiammai gets trapped with the tiger under a tall mountain. Ha! Ha! Ha! Laughed the tiger, and saidI am very happy and very hungry and of cource you will be a delicious food for me.
The poor cow Nachiammai requested to the tiger that, I had a little calf. There is no one to fed him with milk. Please, let mego. I promise you that, after feeding my calf with milk, I will come back to you and you can make me as your prey.
How can I believe you and your promise? Asked the tiger. Nachiammai replied
“Promise and honesty is my lord”“Promise and honesty is my soul”.“Promise and honesty is my family”
So, it’s my promise that I will come back to you and you can make me as your prey. After hearing the thoughts ofNachiammai, the tiger said, ok! You may go, but if you didn’t come back, I will make your whole family as my prey.
Nachiammai was very sad and gone to hear the calf and said, you should be a good calf, that all people should say you thatyou are the lord of honesty.
The calf too promised with a crying face to his mother. The whole family of Nachiammai cried, as she was going away fromthem.
But among all, the poor little calf cried a lot. Now, Nachiammai said, it is the time for me to go so good bye! And Nachiammaiwent back to the tiger. After seeing the following sense of honesty and promise of Nachiammai, the tiger heart melted and said,if I kill you and eat, it will be the great sin that I will do and it also would be curse for my hereditary. So, I am sorry to troubleyou, said the tiger and went back to the forest. Nachiammai said thank you! And gone to her calf and lived happily.
MORAL: We should follow our promise and should be honesty as both of this is wisdom of lord and love.

ECONOMIC RENT
Amsha Varshini. PIII B.A., Economics
INTRODUCTION
In economics, economic rent is any payment to an owner or factor of production in excess of the costs needed tobring the factor into production. In classical economics, economic rent if any payment made or benefit received fornon-produced inputs such as location and for assets formed by creating official privilege over natural opportunities(Eg:Patents). In the moral economic rent includes income gained by labor or state beneficiaries of other “Contrived”[assuming the market is natural, as does not come about state and social contrivance] exclusivity, such as laborguilds and unofficial corruption.
DEFINITION
According to Robert Tollison (1982), economic rent is “excess returns” above the “normal levels” that are generatedin competitive markets. More specifically, a rent is “a return in excess of the resource owner’s opportunity cost.
CLASSICAL RENT (Land Rent)
In political economy, including physiocracy, classical economics, Georgism and other schools of economic thoughtland is recognized as an inelastic factor of production. Land, in this sense means exclusive access right to any naturalopportunities. Rent is the share paid to freeholders for allowing production on the land they control.
As soon as the land of any country has all became private property, the landlord, like all other men where theyhave never sowed, and demand and rent even for its natural produced. The wood of the forest, the grass of the fieldand all the natural fruits of the earth, which, when land was in common, cost the laborer only the trouble of gatheringthem, come even to him to have an additional price fixed upon them; and must give up to the landlord a portion ofwhat his labor either collects or produces. This portion, or, what comes to the same things, the price of this portion, constitutes the rent of land.
MONOPOLY RENT
Monopoly rent refers to those economic rents derived from monopolies, which can result from;
(1) Denial of access to an asserts.
(2) The unique qualities of an asserts.
Eg: of monopoly rent include rent associated form legally enforced knowledge Monopolies derived from intellectualproperty patents or copyrights; rents associated with ‘de facto’ monopolies of companies like Microsoft and Intelwho control the underlying standards in an industry or product line.
LABOUR
The generalization of the concept of rent to include opportunity cost has served to highlight the role of politicalbarriers in creating privatizing rents.
Eg: A person seeking to become a member of medieval guild makes a huge investment in training and education.

As I noted in my statement to the ExecutiveBoard, our immediate priority is to help countries minimize the risk of crisis and be ready to cope with downturns.Yet, we should not lose sight of our long-term objective to support sound monetary, fiscal and structural policies tobuild stronger economies and improve people’s lives. FINDING MYSELF IN ADULT LIFE
Thiruvilanga Selvi.AIII B.A.,English
I think I am finding myself now. When I had started learning what is life! And knowing the people behavioraround me, who acts outside good. When I started to learn about the guys mentally whom I met in my life has teachesme how to not believe one easily and be selfless to all. When I started my college life I felt sad that I have lost soprecious life of school. While we were studying in the school we used to think that college life is better because wedon’t want to study and enjoy a lot. But when we started the college life we started to know how much responsibilitieswe have. The hopes of parents on our future life, which remember our responsibilities. While reading this passage, just think about you school life and atrocities. More especially just think about the friends and groups withoutmaturity fights and celebrations of the school competitions. It would be the best moment of life with the schoolfriends. There will be no gossips, selfishness, treachery and cheatings.
In college life, I have started learning myself from my friends. Through the separations of my friend I havelearned a lot. You can think the separation makes a person to be sad, but it my life I was happy because of suchseparations. I can tell you the reason that I had fulfilled my bestie wish. I like her because I am not her friend I am hermom. I don’t want to be a friend to her but I want to care her like a mom. When she cries, before that I will cry. Whenshe was happy, I will be flying on the sky. When she get problem, I will be there for her only in together but in theseparations. I have a kind of character that I won’t believe anybody easily. If I started to believe anybody I will doanything to them it may be even to exist of my life.
My friend has made me participate in every competition. She showed my talents to me and made me interestedthrough many fields. Only the true friend makes us to be proud of their friendship after they left you. If they had notmuch for you is not a matter. The only think is they just with you are enough. The true friendship depends on caringand affections which had given to us at once. If they forget your caring is not a matter. If they don’t know the valuesof our friendship don’t worry, they would realize later.
After reading this passages just think do you get the same friends like school friends in your college life. I knowmost of the answers will be “NO”. How many friends have made their friends to move on the wrong paths whiledoing these to your friends did you think how much your friend believed you. You can know your friend trust as sheknow many people but asking to choose her life path to you it means how much she had trusted you friendship bond.Next, did you ask any sorry to your bestie without doing any mistakes? I can say the reason you have ask sorry toyour bestie the only reason is that you can’t be without talking and fighting with her. You are respecting yourfriendship and your egos. The only thing that we can fight and scold a person, whom should be a special person inour life. Just think how many have left the true friendship and insult the true friendship. These things have taught mea lot in my life. I know only friendship is not our life. But it was the important relationship in our adulthood. WOMEN EMPOWERMENTR. Naga BhagavathiII B.Sc .,Computer Science
Introduction
‘Empowerment’ may be described as a process which helps people to assert their control over the factors whichaffect their lives. Empowerment of women means developing them as more aware individuals, who are politicallyactive, economically productive and independent. Empowering the women to take the important decisions for theirpersonal development is called women empowerment. It is to make the women independent in all aspects of life beit mind, thoughts and making the right decisions without the societal and family restrictions. Empowering women isto bring equality in the social order in which men and women are both equals in all areas.
Although in many countries Women are achieving equality in health outcomes and education enrollmentrates, the world has not seen the same kind of progress when it comes to gender equality. The role of womenempowerment is promotion of equal participation of women and men in decision-making because women continueto have fewer rights, lower education and health status, less access to resources and decision-making than men. There are many gender roles socially constructed that are oppressive and needs social transformation. While it isimportant for both genders to participate in the gender development interventions and initiatives, more interventionsare required for women to bring balance in the gender relations and power equations. India is a country known forits cultural legacy, traditions, society, religion and geographical features from the ancient time. It is also popular asa male chauvinistic nation. In the ancient times, women were treated very badly by family and society. They were notgiven education and were only restricted to doing household tasks. They were kept completely oblivious out of theirrights and development. Women make up half of the country so, in order to make this country an entirely powerfulcountry, women empowerment is very necessary. In order to gain back the respect, independence and their rights, women must understand their strengths to grow and flourish in life.
Objectives of Women Empowerment
1. To know the need of Women Empowerment. 2. To assess the Awareness of Women Empowerment in India.3. To analyze the Economic Factors of Women.4. To study the Government Schemes For Women Empowerment.5. To identify the struggles in the Path of Women Empowerment.

9. Absence of ambition for the achievement10. Social status11. Dowry12. Marriage in same caste and13. Child marriage (still existing)14. Atrocities on Women (Raped, Kicked, Killed, Subdued, humiliated almost daily.)
Need for Women Empowerment : Women are deprived of1. Decision Making Power2. Freedom of Movement3. Access to Education4. Access to Employment5. Exposure to Media6. Domestic Violence
Government Schemes For Women Empowerment
The Government programmes for women development began as early as 1954 in India but the actual participationbegan only in 1974. At present, the Government of India has over 34 schemes for women operated by differentdepartment and ministries.
Conclusion
Women’s empowerment is not a Northern concept women all over the world, including countries in South, havebeen challenging and changing gender inequalities since the beginning of the history. A Issues and Challenges ofWomen Empowerment in India struggles have also been supported by many men who have been outraged at injusticeagainst women. Women represent half the world’s population and gender inequality exists in every nation on theplanet. Until women are given the same opportunities that men are, entire societies will be destined to perform belowtheir true potentials. The greatest need of the hour is change of social attitude to women. “When women moveforward the family moves, the village moves and the nation moves”. It is essential as their thought and their valuesystems lead the development of a good family, good society and ultimately a good nation. The best way ofempowerment is perhaps through inducting women in the mainstream of development. Women empowerment willbe real and effective only when they are endowed income and property so that they may stand on their feet and buildup their identity in the society. The Empowerment of Women has become one of the most important concerns of 21stcentury not only at national level but also at the international level. Government initiatives alone would not besufficient to achieve this goal. Society must take initiative to create a climate in which there is no gender discriminationand women have full opportunities of self decision making and participating in social, political and economic life ofthe country with a sense of equality.

IS TIME TRAVEL IS POSSIBLE?
M.BrindaI B.Sc., Mathematics
Yes, it is possible Mahabarata, the Great epic reveals that the very first time travel story recorded in the history.
This speculated to be written as early as 400 BCE. This story talks about the king named Kakudmi and hisdaughter Revati, and their search for a perfect bridegroom. The king Kakudmi a powerful ruler who ruled theKusasthali, a prosperous and super advanced kingdom under the sea and Revati was the only daughter of the king.Thinking no one could prove to be better enough to marry his pretty daughter, they went to Brahmaloka, the kingdomof Brahma to find a solution for finding the king for Revati. Brahma was listening to a musical performance whenthey arrived. The king and his daughter waited patiently. Finally, the king made a humble request.
O Brahma! To whom shall I betroth this daughter? I have come to you to ask on this point. I have searched formany princes and No one is suit for her and so my mind is not at rest.
Brahma laughed
O king! The prince that you thought would become the bridegroom of your daughter all died; their sons andgrandson and their friends even have all passed away.
During the time the king and his daughter waited in the Brahmaloka to see him was 27 chaturyugas had passed onearth. One chatur-yuga is equivalent to 4320000 human years. Everything the king owned had vanished with the timethat had passed.
They were overcome with astonishment and grief for the lost of everything they had, Brahma comforted themand he suggests a worthy bridegroom currently on earth that is Balarama, the brother of Krishna.
What is really interesting thought is how similar their view of time was 2500 years ago to how physicists andastronomers conceptualize space time today. In the theory of relativity proposed by Albert Einstein, time is relativeto the observer’s motion and strength of gravity. For instance, one could argue that time here on earth. It runs slowerthan in space because gravity slows the passage of time. In the same way Einstein says time relative to the observer’sframe of reference that is it depends on the observer’s motion and strength of gravity, Brahma tells them 2500 yearsbefore Einstein. Time runs differently on different planes of existence.
Hindu philosophy was popular with the concept that time relative and many passages on the Vedic scriptures.

A computer virus is a malicious program that self-replicates by copying itself to another program. In other words, the computer virus spreads by itself into other executable code or documents. The purpose of creating a computervirus is to infect vulnerable systems, gain admin control and steal user sensitive data. Hackers design computerviruses with malicious intent and prey on online users by tricking them.
How does a computer virus operate?
A computer virus operates in two ways. The first kind, as soon as it lands on a new computer, begins to replicate. The second type plays dead until the trigger kick starts the malicious code. In other words, the infected programneeds to run to be executed. Therefore, it is highly significant to stay shielded by installing a robust antivirus program.
How to be safe from Email Viruses
Here are some simple rules you can follow to avoid being infected by viruses through email.
Do’s
1. Use a professional, email service such as Runbox. Subscription services provide higher levels of securityand support.
2. Make sure that your Runbox virus filter is activated.
3. Use the Webmail interface at www.runbox.com to read your email, or don’t download all your email to anemail client unseen. Screen your email first, and delete suspicious-looking and unwanted messages beforedownloading the legitimate email to your local email client.
4. Make sure your computer has updated anti-virus software running locally. Automatic updates are essentialfor effective virus protection. Combined with server-side scanning, you now have two layers of security.
5. Disable message preview in your email client, especially on Windows platforms. Otherwise, maliciousprograms attached to incoming messages may execute automatically and infect your computer.
6. Ignore or delete messages with attachments appearing to be sent from official Runbox email addresses.Runbox rarely sends email to our users, aside from replies to inquiries and payment reminders. Wepractically never send an email with attachments to users.
7. Take caution when opening graphics and media attachments, as viruses can be disguised as such files.
8. Maintain several independent email accounts. If a virus infects your only business email address, you’llbe in trouble. Also, keep backups of your most important email and files separately.
9. If any valid message headers of a virus-email indicate what server the message was sent from, contact theservice in question and file a formal complaint.
Don’ts
1. Do not open an email attachment unless you were expecting it and know whom it’s from.
Sri Sarada College for Women, Tirunelveli - 627 011 Magazine 2019 - 20
2. Do not open any unsolicited executable files, documents, spreadsheets, etc.
3. Avoid downloading executable or documents from the internet, as these are often used to spread viruses.
4. Never open files with a double file extension, e.g. filename.txt.vbs. This is a typical sign of a virusprogram.
5. Do not send or forward any files that you haven’t virus-checked first.
6. Viruses and spam
7. Virus-makers and spammers often cooperate in devious schemes to send as much spam as possible asefficiently as possible. They create viruses that infect vulnerable computers around the world and turnthem into spam-generating “robots”. The infected computers then send massive amounts of spam, unbeknownst to the computer owner.
Such virus-generated email is often forged to appear to be sent from legitimate addresses collected from addressbooks on infected computers. The viruses also use such data, combined with lists of common (user) names, to sendspam to huge numbers of recipients. Many of those messages will be returned as undeliverable, and arrive in innocentand unknowing email users’ Inboxes. If this happens to you, use the trainable spam filter to catch those messages.

SAVE WATER TO SECURE LIFE
N. Nithya KalyaniII- B.Sc., Computer Science
Water is one of the most necessities for living. Saving water saves lives. Everyone must know that it is ourprimary duty to learn the importance of its purpose. All the living organisms required water for growth and nourishment.Birds and Animals quench their thirst with water and the biggest one is the whole humankind. Since water is essentialfor life itself, we need to conserve it for future generation. Nowadays, we use and misused water much than what weneed. It can simply start with our own home. It is now time to make those simple plans for saving water every day.Sometimes we don’t care how much water we waste in doing our daily chores. There are those simple ways in whichwe take water for granted like for instance when brushing teeth or washing hands we use to let tap water flow insteadof turning it off to reduce waste.
To save life on earth we require saving water on earth as without water life is not possible here. We can do lotsof efforts for the better and limited use of water:
Try to use recirculation of water at home; discharged water from the water purifier should be use forplantation.
Make a habit of closing taps after the use; in fact, use water from the storage utensil for the daily activitiesinstead of using running water from the tap.
Proper drain system should be applied at home so that dirty water in form of sewage would not mixed intoriver or sea.
Storage of rainy water should be applied which can be useful for other house hold activities like plantation, sprinkling land, or washings vehicles.
Factories or mills should be planned in this manner that they would not affect the rivers, ponds, lakes oroceans.
Plants plays a major role in rainfall thus to make proper execution of natural cycle, more plantation should bepromoted.
Uses of Rain Water HarvestingRainwater harvesting should be initiated by the people at village level. Rain water can be saved by making
small or big ponds with proper maintenance. Young students need to be more aware and concentrate on the issuesand solutions. Water insecurity and scarcity has affected people’s living in many countries of the developing world. In this current situation, when a less amount of fresh water is left on earth, we are still careless about the misuse ofwater, which is completely wrong in all way. We are continuously wasting this precious nature’s gift by doing somebad and objectionable acts.
Cleaning few clothes in washing machine and washing dishes in dishwasher waste lots of water.
Any kind of leakage in taps or pipes at home may cause the wastage of water in a huge amount.

In agriculture, various people waste lots of water which can also be saved by using the proper managedway.
Conclusion
People have started understanding the value of clean water however not trying completely to save water.Saving water is good habit and every one of us should try their best to save water for the continuation of life here. Some years ago, no one was selling water on the shop however time has been changed now a lot and we can see thepure water bottles availability on the shops everywhere. We can clearly imagine that, in the near future there wouldbe much shortage of clean water all over the world. Awareness programs should be run to let common people knowabout the potential problems caused by the drinking or normal water scarcity. There is urgent need to eradicate thepeople’s attitude about water wastage.

EMINENCE OF SANSKRIT LANGUAGE
Lishi subhashiny.S.V.II B .A., English
Sanskrit has been called as vadamozhi in south India. With lot of interest Sanskrit had read by more researchersover the world. Sanskrit covers moreover all the branches of wisdom in the Universe. The best universities of manycountries are teaching Sanskrit to their students for their individual development.
Why this language has been interestingly studied all over the world? There is more reason to explain, but the firstreason is that it is one of the oldest languages in the universe. Vedas are considered as the oldest available bookwhich is in Sanskrit language. Though it is considered as a religious book, it has a scientific value too. Astronomical, medical, ethical and historical contribution of Vedas is not even now fully analyzed.
We can get an interesting story regarding the origin of letters in Sanskrit language. Lord shiva during his Thandava, shaked his Damaru, a small two sided drum to make sound 14 times. The sound produced is emerged as Aphorismswhich constitutes the alphabets in Sanskrit language. As these aphorisms are created by Maheshwara, it is called asmaheshwara sutras.
The above history of Sanskrit had been giving the explanation that this language has found by the god, so it isalso called as god’s language. Sanskrit has two forms - vedic language and classical language.
The two Great epics of India Ramayana and Mahabharata become the reservoir and plot of all the literature writtenas the scholars states that,
“Whatever has been said here may be found elsewhere, but whatever is not found here does not exist anywhereelse!”
In addition to the Great epics, Sanskrit language contributed uncountable literature both scientific and religiousfor the sake of the world till 20th century. Though there are many controversies faced by this language, Sanskrit iscontinuously learnt by the people all over the world irrespective of age, religion, nation etc. Many organizations suchas Samskrita bharati are working for the spread of this language especially to develop the spoken Sanskrit to abolisha fake belief that Sanskrit is a dead language.
