Page 2: Contents pages

The sub heading is reversed out text, and in bold, capital letters. The sub headings are also down the left hand side in small, plain, black, simple font. The large picture on the left takes us most of the room, showing what’s inside the magazine. There is also another picture at the bottom, a review section which is in a separate box, drawing your attention towards it. Also the every month section is reversed out text making it eye catching and bold.

The sub heading is reversed out text with the iconic NME symbol in the usual red, with a white outline. The rest of the sub heading white ad capital letters. The contents part is down the right hand side with reversed out text subheadings, and plain, simple black font. The picture in the middle takes up most of the page, showing whats inside the magazine. At the bottom of the page there is black boxed, with yellow font making it eye catching and bold, showing a subscription to the magazine.

The Q sign is the top left hand corner, the original symbol. The subheading is capital letters, black, simple font, the picture takes up most of the page, showing whats inside the magazine. The picture is a close up. The contents part down the left hand side is plain, black font also. The red arrow in the bottom right hand corner indicates to turn over the page.

The mast head is black, simple font and capital letters, its also broken up and is more eye catching and bold. The contents is on the left, small, black, simple font, not drawing attention from the image. The image is a long shot and takes up most of the contents page, they are wearing different coloured clothes to the back ground allowing them to stand out above the background. The text in the corner is also black, simple font.

The mast head is black, capital letters and simple font, the text is broken up making it look different and eye catching. The contents down the right, is small, black, simple font not taking the attention away from the photo in the middle of the page taking up the majority of the page. The image is a medium close up and the artist is wearing grey, matching the background, making the contents simple, but also eye catching and bold.

The mast head is small and is grey, simple, capital letters in a black box. The contents is on the left side, in a black box, with white and yellow font. The sub heading is white font surrounded in a red box allowing it to be eye catching and bold and to stand out on the page. The text is black, simple font, the picture at the bottom shows whats inside the magazine.

The mast head is reversed out text making it eye catching and bold. The images at the top are small and don’t draw your attention away from the rest of the contents page. The small images at the bottom, make you look closely at the page to see what they are of. The swirls down the side of the pages are eye catching and bold and stand out.

The mast head is black, capital letters, bold font. The grey box where the mast head is, makes the mast head more eye catching and noticeable. The sub heading reversed out text, and also part of the contents is placed in a red box making it more eye catching and bold. The rest of the contents is white font on a grey background. The image is a long shot and takes up the whole page.

The mast head is reversed out text with yellow font and bold capital letters making it eye catching and stand out. The contents is down the right hand side, with reversed out text sub headings and plain, black font. There is also a montage of images all over the page, with headings under each in black font. The yellow shape with the black font stands out over all the page and the spikes coming off it allow it to be eye catching and bold.

The mast head is laid across the page and is broken text. Its white, capital letters and bold. The contents section is small, black, plain text allowing the picture to be the main focus. The whole contents page is quite grey, matching with the artists clothes also. The top half of the page is a darker grey, allowing the mast head to be more bold and standing out. The bottom of the page is where more light is, showing the artist off more.
