My background basis was the same as all other pages, I took the black texture, and spread it across the whole A4 template.

After this I began to add background layers, images and textures to give me a small basis to work around, this helps when constructing the general layout of my contents page.

I positioned my main images, in order for me to work around, in doing this I can work text around the images, which is a lot easier than working images around text.

I added my numbers, title and mast head to this next, from this I can again generate a basic layout for my contents page.

Adding lighting effects and the beginning of my contents, from this I again can begin my text layers easier.

Here are my additional text layers beginning to emerge and show a theme that stays constant within my magazine.

Shape layers, effects and more textures were added to my final text layers, general layout and spacing as well as font sizes.

Finally I added my editors block, shape layers and touched up the final magazine piece, in doing this I have displayed a constant theme through out my magazine, and also keep it restricted to the target audience, I also had to ensure that my use of language and images were fitted to my intended audience.
