You’re starting a new marketing effort and have decided to use a Content Capsule.
Now you need to figure out how to take advantage of the vast distribution benefits
now available to you. This document will take you step-by-step through how to
distribute a Content Capsule.
And remember, the Content Capsule is channel-agnostic. It’s a highly interactive and
sharable storytelling unit that carries a consistent message across earned, owned,
shared and paid channels, which means you can embed your Content Capsule almost
anywhere–websites, blogs, Facebook tabs, publishers’ sites, news sites, press releases
and even paid media. If you don’t find help for the channel you’re looking for, give us a

Step-by-step guide to Content CapsuleTM distribution
The Content Capsule–and all of its content–can be embedded in its entirety
by copying and pasting a simple embed code into all company owned or
controlled properties, including: Company websites, Product websites,
Corporate intranet, Corporate blogs, Channel Partner websites.
How do you implement?The Content Capsule offers an embed feature that works just like the YouTube embed feature and is available
for every instance of a Content Capsule. It provides both the <div> tag for simple embedding into a Web page
and the SEO tags (meta and og). Pass these along to whoever handles your website(s), and they can easily
embed the Content Capsule or if you have a content management system, you can copy and paste it into your
page editor.
Facebook TabThe Content Capsule can also be embedded into a Facebook brand page
as an app (aka tab), which we are happy to help you with.
Custom Landing PageYour Content Capsule also comes with an optimized custom landing page to
enhance audience engagement and SEO standing.
Video DistributionNextWorks can further distribute just your video assets on the following online video networks,
using your accounts or those of NextWorks: YouTube, DailyMotion, Veoh, Vimeo Pro and others.
OWNED MEDIA
The Capsule works on earned channels just like owned channels via a
simple copy and paste of an embed code. You provide the embed code to
news media sites, blogs and key influencers.
The Content Capsule can be embedded in its entirety via proactive earned media outreach and organically
via the embed feature of the Content Capsule. This includes: partner websites, affinity Group websites,
influencer blogs, news websites, wire distribution via Business Wire.
Here are a few tips for helping enhance earned channel distributionWhen reaching out to media and partners, explain what the Content Capsule is and what the benefits
are for placing on their properties.
Include directions on how to embed the Capsule, including copying
and pasting your Capsule’s embed code into your communications.
Offer your partners an incentive for embedding your Content
Capsule on their channels.
When selecting or creating content for your Content Capsule, try
to include content that your audience will truly find valuable.
The less promotional your message, the more likely your Content
Capsule is to be embedded on partners’ websites.
Consider offering customized Capsules to influencers. You can
add an influencer video interview, thought leader piece and other
content that positions the influencer as an expert in your story.

The Content Capsule–and all of its component content–can be shared to
common social sharing sites, such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+,
via the social sharing buttons at the bottom of the Content Capsule.
Along with the entire Content Capsule being shareable, individual content assets within the Content Capsule
can also be shared. The social sharing tools can also be turned on or off, individually.
How do you implement? Simply click any of the social sharing icons at the bottom of the Content Capsule to share to that service.
The pre-populated text is determined by you. All social tools can be turned off during development if needed.
Standard social sharing icons are located at the bottom of every Content Capsule.
SHARED MEDIA
Do you already have a paid media campaign planned?The Content Capsule can also be used as the expanded state of a display
banner, thereby bringing your entire Content Capsule experience directly
to your audience as soon as they roll over your banner.
The Capsule can expand out of any size banner or image, but we’ll need to talk with your media buyers or
the online publishers to explain our technology and discuss their individual requirements.
