To all my sons and daughters in Christ! I pray you are doing well and enjoying a peaceful beginning to early Fall in the beautiful Wisconsin Dells. As you know, I, along with Fr. Tait Schroeder, led a Pilgrimage to Rome – together with 44 other people, most of whom were from our parish; we visited many of the holy sites in that great city. We celebrated Mass at the tomb of our patroness, Saint Cecilia, and begged her intercession for our parish. This was a great highlight for us! We also prayed at the tombs of St. Peter, St. Paul, St. Agnes, St. Philip Neri, St. Charles Borromeo, St. Ambrose, St. Aloysius and many more! We had extraordinary days in the Eternal City. We celebrated Mass at a place called Monte Mario, near the oldest image of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the world. We went to Assisi and spent time in that ancient city and visited the tombs of Saints Francis and Claire. We returned to the Dells with spiritual fervor and love for God and souls in our hearts. I look forward in telling you stories of this amazing Pilgrimage. I also hope you found particular joy in the witness of Fr. Paul Farin from Cross Catholic Outreach, a Christian relief and development organization that provides food, shelter, medical care, water, education, self-help programs, care for orphans and emergency relief to the poorest of the poor around the world in the name of Jesus Christ. I am glad to be back home with you. I love you all like Jesus! Fr. Eric

NEWS FROM OUR SISTER PARISH IN THIOTTE, HAITI
Fr. Guy provided the following information: The weather has affected them due to the amount of rain. Roads are impassable and there is no public transportation because the their only main road to Port-au-Prince was washed out by the rains. Parish projects are blocked and there is a countrywide economic strain as people are unable to buy, sell or trade. He asks for continued support. The second collection for our Sister Parish will resume the weekend of October 28/29.
