We cover everything from what is Contact Creator and how to log on to inputting data and searching for voters.

Contact Creator is free
If your local Party has not used Contact Creator before or does not have a Contact Creator Administrator, the CLP Secretary should contact the Contact Creator Team for details about how to get started.

There are three types of user accounts for Contact Creator:
• Data Entry User
• Standard User
• Local Administrator
Contact Creator Accounts
Data Entry User Enter data from Voter ID sessions, search for individual electors, update contact information and input new responses to questions
Standard User All of the functions of a Data Entry User account plus permissions to download Voter ID sheets & other report formats, create petition & survey questions, view stats & analysis, build custom selections, edit road groups & polling stations
Local Administrator All of the functions of a Data Entry and Standard User with permissions to setup & manage Standard User accounts.(Strictly 1 administrator per constituency)

If you need access to Contact Creator in your Constituency or Ward you need to request permission for a user account from your local Contact Creator Administrator.
If you are unsure who your Local Administrator is, please contact your CLP secretary. Please note Labour Party staff are unable to setup new Contact Creator accounts

New users will be provided with a unique username, password and pin to access Contact Creator.

You must not share this login information with anyone and you will be prompted to change your password on a regular basis.

Entering data from recent Voter ID sessions
To enter data from a recent Voter ID session, you need to identify the ‘Report ID’ number – this is printed at the bottom of every Voter ID sheet.

Contact Creator will prompt you to automatically record those electors without either a comma “,” or a Voter ID question response to Question 1 as ‘not in’.
If you select ‘No’ Contact Creator will prompt you to return to the Input Voter ID screen to manually input commas “,” for people who were in and were unable to answer any questions or full stops “.” for people who were not in.
Hints & Tips for entering data• If you need to view the questions, you can hover the pointer over a question number and
the question will appear• You can jump to an elector by inputting their polling number into the ‘find responder’ box• To change the number of voters displayed by choosing from the ‘voters per page’ option • To change your page, select a number in the bottom right hand corner• To load an electors profile, select ‘voter admin’ from the page menu bar• To search for an elector not listed on the VID sheets, select search and follow the on
screen prompts• To input WARP data you’ll need a standard user to recreate the report as a Voter ID report

From the “Search” page you can search for individual electors on the Contact Creator database and select “Voter Admin” to review an elector’s profile and either update their contact information or input new responses to Voter ID, Survey and Petition questions.
