Helping scientists to learn from their previous mistakes when writing proposals. Analysing results for proposals submitted by Serbian scientists so far for FP7 (when we have data).

Your faculty needs to have a strategic plan to improve its research.

I shall give training courses to develop skills for a career in research.

Not everyone will be able to take part in FP7 projects, but there are other ways in which you can contribute more effectively to the ERA.

You need to do a SWOT analysis on the quality of your research. You need to establish whether your research is competitive. You need to identify opportunities for you to improve your research. You need to go on training courses to improve your research skills. You need to take every opportunity to build your EU connections. You need to sell your science to the rest of the world (good website). You need to use the services of the bureau to develop your strategy.

The call deadline was 13 February 2009.

We expect the next REGPOT call to be on a small scale again and may even target the West Balkans.


The REGPOT-2010 call should be in autumn 2009.
