Learning the concept of Money

Mr. John is teacher who has been trained in a constructivist environment. Since he believes in the learner-centered approach, he actively engages his learners to construct new ideas or concepts based on their current/past knowledge. His students have knowledge about money (identifying various coins and notes).

As experience, the students are used to buying snacks and sweets in the school canteen. The teacher’s task is to let them build on this knowledge through a role play and group work (creating a shop corner).

Pupils will be evaluated using word problems based on their authentic and real-world environment.
