Blue Rhine, a name in the sign, advertising and construction industry, almost synonymous with inspired solutions for signage and architecture, in collaboration with with Aslan®, the specialist for self adhesive films and Tesa®, the world leader in high performance tapes, conducted a Product Seminar on premium German solutions for the digital print industry, on June 09, 2015 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The Seminar proved to be truly useful for the selected attendees from the industry, with highly insightful presentations and new product launches.

The participants were introduced to some of the world’s smartest solutions for the digital print industry and had the opportunity for interacting with Mr. René Bourgeois, Key Account Manager, Aslan® and Mr. Ziad Al Dahleh, Business Development Manager, Tesa® Middle East.

Mr. Anand V. Joseph, Vice-President Sales and Product Management, Blue Rhine General Trading LLC, spoke about the objective he had, while planning this session and such similar sessions thus: “Our idea is to demonstrate the right and varied uses of the Aslan®and Tesa® range of products to our unique set of customers through these insightful sessions. We are also showcasing some of the new launches by both these world leaders”.

Adding to the existing array of their much acclaimed products, Aslan® introduced the self adhesive glass decoration films,

in three eye catching designs ‘Linen’, ‘Dot’ and ‘Snow’, of the new Illustra range. These films suitable for long term applications, with an outdoor durability of at least seven years, along with having the ‘Dry Apply Technology’ with fine air release channels, boasts of a scratch and solvent resistant design in addition to making it possible for the applicators to save significant amount of time during application. Aslan® also introduced at the Seminar a new product showcased at the recently concluded FESPA in Cologne; a slip-resistant printable floor graphics film that does not require additional lamination.

ACXplus Intelligent Bonding, a category of tapes for constructive bonding was the focus of Tesa® during the Seminar, in addition to having demonstrations and presentations on Tesa® 4965, a transparent double-sided self-adhesive tape consisting of a PET backing and a tackified acrylic adhesive; Tesa®4965, capable of withstanding heavy stress, high temperatures or critical substrates; and Tesa® 4952, a double-sided PE-foam tape for constructive mounting applications, externally certified for furniture mirror mounting. Tesa® ACXplus for constructive bonding becomes an indispensible requirement of today, especially in the context of applications utilizing high tech materials with special structures and properties to be maintained intact; where dissimilar materials are required to be bonded; or where mechanical fasteners like rivets, welds, or screws may not be suitable.

Printable with UV inks and screen printing.
