Construction Of My Contents Page

Programmes that I usedThrough out all my coursework, I used both InDesign and Photoshop

I used the same process when choosing my text and changing the colours and adding strokes to them.

What I did firstI used the same website for the font that I used as my Masthead for the sub-headings on my contents page.

I used the same font for the other sub-headings and kept the colours consistent with the front cover colours.

I decided to use this font on the contents page also because I really liked the font and I think that it conveys the message pretty clearly.

CoverlinesFrom the research that I did, I found that they usually put a little bit of information on the article under the its name.

I found it interesting when I was coming up with coverlines but also difficult. In order for me to do this, I had to think off being in the shoes of someone who enjoyed Dubstep music and come up with things that I would like to know about.

ImagesI thought that these images worked because, again I think that they illustrate the coverline that they were linked to.

The image of “Page 6” worked because its about a mixtape and that’s how most mixtapes are produced, through computers.

The image of “Page 2” works because it shows an artist working at his music station, an new artist at that

Editor’s Message The Editor here gets a chance to interact with their readers, so the mode of address to the reader draws them in as if they are in a face-to-face conversation with them.

This also came up a lot when doing my research and I think that it was important that this be added in.

Outcome of the Contents Page

The past few weeks I have made my Contents Page which is shown on the left.

I’m happy with the end product because I think that it conveys the genre I picked and I also like the coverlines that go along with it and hopefully puts my message across to my audience.
