Kwagga Holdings started its voyage in 2002 as a proprietorship concern promoted by entrepreneur Mr. Nazer Cassim and is a Johannesburg, Gauteng Province based construction company specializing in road construction and rehabilitation. The company did several prestigious construction projects. Today, the company has established itself as a renowned construction company. For over 13 years, the company's ideological foundations of commitment to timely completion of projects and high quality construction have been the armaments to its rapid growth. In the Industrial and Civil Construction sector, which is the company's forte, Kwagga Holdings Propriety Limited offers services in general contracting, its expertise extends to urban infrastructure and select industrial, commercial, residential and sporting building projects.

Executive Management Team The management is vested with a Board of Directors, comprising of persons with extensive commercial, technical and administrative acumen and experience Mr. Nazer Cassim (Chairman and Managing Director) Responsibility: Strategic Management and Financial Control Nazer holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies whilst simultaneously completing his MBA. He has a wide variety of management skills acquired in a variety of management positions with large corporations. He has steered the company from its modest beginnings to the multi-skilled organisation that exists today. Mrs. Shereen Marias (Director – Administration) Shereen Marais has a wide variety of consulting & management skills acquired in a variety of management positions. She has dealt with large corporations for the past 20 years, amongst which the following areas were covered. Events and function co-ordination, Buying – Procurement, Human Resource, training and development and takes care of the inventory control. Mr. Riyaz Surtee (Director – Finance) Responsibility: Financial & Accounting Control Riyaz holds a B Comm degree and he has accounting & administration experience in the accounting profession, industry & commerce for 10 years. Presently in charge of Finance and Accounting Control. His foresight and high level of energies has made Kwagga Holdings reach new heights. He works closely with our appointed Auditing firm Haroon Takolia to ensure that all financial requirements are adhered to. Mr. Clemence Nyasvimbo (Director – Technical) Clemence holds a Diploma in Design and Draughting Technology and Project Management. He has 20 years’ experience in Building Management and Design Engineering and worked in a number of African Countries. He has performed the role of Contracts Manager on various projects and also has experience in the construction supervision and contract management of the projects that he has been involved with. In his role he is responsible for Building site management Mr. Charl Naude (Company Secretary) Responsibility: Human Resources and Legal Charl Naude is an Attorney with his own practice Naude and Britz Attorneys. He assists our organisation with all our Legal and Human Resource requirements. This partnership has allowed us to perform and deliver our contracts to the latter and this is partly the reason why we have been so successful.
