The installation of the street side grinder pumps will continue on Lakeview Drive West. The Lateral crew will start installing on the East side focusing their efforts on Grandview Drive, Glenwood Lane, and Roamingwood Road. Installation of the new sewer and water mains will continue on Lakeview Drive toward the main gate. Expect delays in this area because traffic will be restricted to one lane. A viable option would be to utilize the North Gate by accessing Miller Road (refer to our website for the latest map). Main line installation will then move to Parkwood Drive, Cedarwood Terrace and Lakewood Drive. With the expected warmer temperatures, the contractor is planning on patching the roads in preparation for paving which will result in localized traffic delays and detours. With construction, please understand it is not unusual for plans to change at a moments notice. We ask that the members of the community be patient with us and respect the safety of the workers in the construction zones. When working on the roads we do our very best to utilize detours. Unfortunately detours are not always available and the best route is around the lake. Please be aware of this situation and always give yourself plenty of time to make your appointments. There are a few houses still in need of an initial inspection. If you have not met with one of our inspectors to review the project compliances and what your home requires, it is urgent that you please call the Project Management Office to schedule an appointment. Additionally, some houses that have been inspected, have not had the control box installed, RS&W Project Management Office has contacted every homeowner we have on record, if you are a new homeowner and/or you are not certain if your home has been fitted with a control panel, please call the Project Management Office at (570) 698-6162 Option #2 to schedule an appointment for your house.CONSTRUCTION AREAS AND WORK SCHEDULING All Hideout homes within the project area, whether they currently have a sewage pump system or not, will require a pump to connect to the new low-pressure sewage system. Roamingwood Sewer and Water Association Master Plan Update

The excavation work for the third and final stage of the sewer and

No Rate Increase for 2018 The RS&W Management and Board of Directors have been able to approve our 2018 budget without a rate increase for a 2nd consecutive year, to our customers. This is largely due to the success of a substantial USDA grant that was awarded the South Wayne County Water & Sewer Authority for Stage 3 and well managed fiscal planning of both our Utility Operations and Infrastructure Project. Developed Rates will remain $391.00 Undeveloped Rates will remain $251.00

RS&W SEEKS QUALIFIED MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING

The Nominating Committee for Roamingwood Sewer & Water Association is seeking qualified candidates to run for the Board of Directors. There will be two (2) positions open in this election year. The term of office is three (3) years. Qualified candidates must be Members in good standing and be available to attend regular monthly meetings of the Board. Board Members receive no compensation.

MEMBERS WHO WANT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR NOMINATION BY THE COMMITTEE MUST SUBMIT A LETTER OF INTEREST BY 4:00

PM, FRIDAY JUNE 15, 2018.

This short letter expressing interest in being nominated should include:

1) name, address and lot number; 2) brief resume of work and volunteer

experience; 3) short statement as to why you would like to be a Board Member.

After Letters of Interest are received, the Nominating Committee must assure

there is a minimum of four (4) nominees. Notice of the Committee’s decision will

be mailed to all persons expressing interest by Wednesday, June 20, 2018. In this

notice, the Committee will ask candidates to answer two written questions, the

answers to which will be used in the ‘Election Newsletter’. It is important that you

answer the questions, so that your complete views are expressed.

Further election information and other important dates will be published in

the June edition of The Hideabout.
