Comvex

Export Grain Terminal (CEGT)

with silo storage capacity of Q=200.000 tons, Constanta Port - Romania

• Comvex is developing a new

project: “Comvex Export Grain

Terminal” with a capacity of

200.000 tons that provides the

possibility to receive grain from

trucks, rail cars and barges and

load grain on vessels, with the

main orientation on export of grain

from Romania to the World Market.

• The terminal is intended to

provide maximum flexibility in order

to cooperate with all existing

terminal operators and to work in

concert with all the existing traders

and operators.

The site for Comvex Export Grain Terminal is located in the area of Berths N°79, N°80 & N°81 having a sea

depth of 19 m, providing excellent access for loading Panamax vessels, even of a very large bulk carriers (for

which other operators don’t have the berths depth to accommodate) - as Cape size vessels of up to 140,000

dwt. Access of the site by Trucks is also excellent. Connecting roads in very good condition are existing on

site. Access of the site by Railcar wagons will be provided by a new railway inside the Terminal.

GSP Shipyard

Facilities:

The Agigea Fabrication Yard has over 815 m of quayside bulkhead with a water depth 7 meters.

The top of the bulkhead is 2.5 m above sea level. Berthing facilities for typical FPSO integration

projects are available with mooring systems installed on the quay wall.

Access to Open Sea:

• Distance to open water - 6 km

• Minimum Channel Water Depth - 7 meters

• Minimum Channel Width - 160 meters

Minmetal

In July 2009 we’ve started serious investment to create efficient handling and storage terminal to optimise

the use of valuable land to build proper foundations, one by one, that will host the cells, gradually raised,

resulting the core of the terminal we’ve added the conveyor belt system, the warehouse and two

shiploaders for vessels loading / discharge the grain terminal storage capacity is 260,000 tonnes (including

meals storage facilities) with a reception/delivery rate of 30,000 tonnes/day the terminal can accommodate

Panamax size vessels.

Chimpex (Ameropa Group)

Oil Terminal

Oil Terminal operates:

• oil, liquid oil and chemical products unloading from ships to tanks;

• oil and liquid chemical products unloading from railway cisterns into tanks;

• oil and liquid chemical products loading from railway cisterns to ships/river barges by direct transhipping;

• oil, liquid and chemical products loading from tanks to maritime ships/river barges;

• direct transhipping from a ship to another ship/river barge;

• tank storage.

Oil Terminal is connected through a network of oil pipes of more than 800 km to all refineries in Romania.

Constanta Harbour is connected to the Central and Western Europe countries by the Danube-Black Sea

Canal and the Danube river.

Therefore, a wide range of merchandises can be received/sent by river barges.

Oil Terminal has the only oil berth in the Western Black Sea with a draught that allows the unloading/loading

of ships up to 150,000 tdw. It operates 7 operative berths of which 6 have a depth of 17.50 m and a length of

393 metres.

The berths are equipped with hydraulic coupling installations to ships, for loading and unloading, 12”

diameter, WOODFIELD type, in the berths 70-76 and 16” diameter, FLEXIDER type, in berth 79

Transport pipes with diameters ranging between 100 and 1000 mm, for the transfers within warehouses, the

connection between warehouses and the one between the warehouses and the berths where oil ships are

Barter Port Grain Terminal

Is mainly dedicated to river and sea traffic for barges operations and coaster vessel with a capacity up to

7.000 tons, loading rate for vessel up to 4.000 tons/24 hours, loading rate for barges 2.000 tons/24 hours.

As in taking capacity, we are able to receive up to 100 trucksand 1 (one) train per 24 hours, meaning

acapacity of 4.000 tons per 24 hours.

• Recently has been concluded an MoU between Constanta port Authority and the Port BusinessAssociation, stating the liaison between the two parties in the pursuit of a sustainable development of theport in connection to the business and market needs

• This event developed in the framework of the partnership between the port authority and port businesscommunity is a statement of our full commitment to promote and develop the port of Constanta and itsservices, as major distribution hub on the region and of course, on the Silk Road.
