Consolidated Good News Report September 28, 2013

Ac. Cirananda Avt.: 1st time we did retreat in Monterrey Jagrti. This is very old but beautiful house

of the old city. Since 2 weeks before the retreat it was raining very much. Even after heavy rain still

margiis came and participated. During Retreat time we had such a good flow with Kiirtan and

collective meditation and all were very happy to have retreat in Monterrey. We were 23 people

including 4 Acaryas, most of the Margii Brothers and Sisters were from Monterrey and Morelia.

Another one Good News is that before the Retreat we renovated the jagrti with the help of the

Margii here in Monterrey. Especially almost all the Margii came and they worked so hard for

painting and we were able to finish all the painting work inside the Building, although outside few

months before The Municipality of Monterrey they did it. But still the behind portion of the House

is left to repair and paint due to heavy rain we couldn't do it but soon we are going to do thanks.

I contacted yoga centres in New York. One of them (Anthea Yoga Centre in Astoria, NY) accepted me asguest teacher and I gave six meditation classes there in August and September.

On 21 August, I gave a lecture at White Plains, NY and have been making effort to start a unit there.

Visited Boston and Ithaca in August, met with Margiis and went to universities to do pracar and check for

future pracar opportunities.

Helped with the celebration of PS Day at Toronto. It was an event organised by Dada Parinirvanananda

and had around 130 people attending.

Now I am currently helping Dada Dayashiilananda with Master Unit work at Ananda Kanak, Canada

Amurt and Amurtel volunteers went for relief work in Denver, Colorado after massive flooding. Manyhouses and lot of property were damaged.

AMURT and AMURTEL is also coordinating a food relief operation in Los Angeles since many years. In the

image below part of the Team of volunteers.

Ac. Unmantrananda Avt.: We did one small food distribution on September 30 to 125 refugee families.Each family got 45 kilos of food at a $100 value.

Master Unit Ananda Kanak, Canada: Dada Dayashiilananda has made friends with our neighbours.

One of our neighbour had lots of pears that they don't utilise so we collected some for eating and making

jam. They are sweet sour, organic and no bugs.

Ac. Vimaleshananda Avt.: After attending the Sectorial Conference in Ananda Kanan I traveled to Los

Altos Hills. Constructed website at anandamargaoflosaltoshills.ampsnews.org

Visited Ananda Dham Master Unit after the wildfires had burned most of the peach trees. AttendedAkhanda Kiirtan. Attended Dharma Cakra in Los Angeles before traveling to Nicaragua.

In Managua attended Dharma Cakra. Visited Master Unit Ananda Nikunja where there was no roof on

the remaining construction. Built a temporary partial roof with recovery material. Built website at

Ac. Iishvarakrsnananda Avt.: Dada has been very active in Dharma Pracar in the New York area. Besides

the regular Dharma Cakra and Akhanda Kiirtan every month in Corona jagrti he has outreached in the

Boston Region area reconnecting margi and relationships.

Ac. Visnupremananda Avt.: During the Independence Day of Nicaragua the School of Ananda Marga

paraded in the streets. Dada also regularly the master unit Ananda Nikunja supervising and maintaining

the project.

Ac. Anudhyanananda Avt.: During the visit to Los Altos Hills Dada has been visiting several centers with

the help of a newly initiated brother and of the margi of Los Altos Hills. Brother Ragu has been

documenting the dharma pracar with pictures published in the media section of the website
