Previous masterplan layout
Reviewing the previous masterplanAlongsidelookingatwhichbuildingfaçadescouldberetained,thedesignteamalsoconsidered how the masterplan layout for the residential part of the site could better reflect the site’s railway heritage.
Themasterplan(showninpartbelow)soughttocreateanewstreetlayoutforthewesternpartofthesite.However,aspartofthedesignreview,theteamlookedattheexistingsite(bottomimage)anditsbuildingstoseehowanewmasterplanmightbetterreflectthishistoriclayout.
