Spring Cleaning: 5 Tips to Declutter 1) Declutter for 15 minutes every day. Rome wasn’t built in the day, and neither was your mountain of paper and data scatter. You’ll be surprised on how much you can get accomplished taking a bit of time each day to tackle your clutter. 2) Gift everything. Books you’ve read can be recycled among your family friends or local library. Game systems can be donated or given away. 3) Get Digital. Photos, Children’s Artwork, Books, Documents 4) Yard Sale Time. That Ugly Sweater someone gave you, that collection of china you never liked, and other goodies can become someone else’s prized possession. 5) Create Art. Old buttons can become vintage rings, bottle caps and wine corks can become an interesting piece of artwork with a little bit of time and supplies. Need more decluttering help? Brooking Park will have a Downsizing and Decluttering Seminar on April 4, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.. For more details, email Susan Signorino at [email protected]. St. Andrew’s Senior Solutions provides home health services to several St. Andrew’s communities.
