That’s when CYBG created Studio B, a banking space that provides bank managers with more insight into customer demographics and service usage. CYBG engaged Deloitte to implement an AWS-enabled IoT solution for retail bank branch offices, allowing bank managers to measure: Number of visitors Areas of the retail branch receiving the most foot traffic Age and gender of visitors Visitor experience Effectiveness of marketing Deloitte integrated AWS IoT, AWS Lambda, and other AWS services to achieve reliable, scalable development and deliver value faster to the client. With this solution, CYBG gathers data from cameras, floor sensors, and other customer interactions, which is analyzed in near real-time (NRT), providing managers with the ability to gain data-driven insights into the customer experience within the space.

Happier, more informed customers take to the skiesA major U.S. airline wanted to distinguish itself in the marketplace, streamline operations, and improve customer loyalty by providing accurate security wait time predictions to help alleviate long lines at security screening.

Deloitte’s multi-disciplinary team recommended location-based services tailored to the airline’s desired customer experience and operational efficiency. The team built an AWS-enabled solution utilizing AWS IAM, Amazon Kinesis, AWS Lambda, AWS EC2, and AWS RDS to develop IoT beacons, create a data streaming architecture, and generate analytic insights to provide security wait times via a mobile app at a test airport.

With this implementation, the airline’s customers at the test airport were able to get current and anticipated security wait times up to the minute with a solution that can now be scaled to other locations. The success at the test site has helped further the client’s strategic vision to improve customer experience and operational efficiency as part of their innovation journey, and thus helped to drive customer loyalty.
