Weta Workshop Creative Art Director Gino Acevedo—whose credits include e Lord of the Rings trilogy, e Hobbit series, Ava- tar and e Hunger Games: Catching Fire—will discuss the relation- ship between digital and practical make-up effects in his keynote talk. New York-based beauty artist Roshar will be the IMATS beauty keynote speaker; his work has appeared in Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and Glamour, among others. His clients include L’Oréal, Modelrock Lashes and Make Up For Ever. Mike Hill—an award-winning sculptor with credits includ- ing e Wolfman, Men in Black 3 and American Horror Story—is also slated as a keynote speaker. Hill is known for his realistic sili- cone sculptures and portraits, which are sought by collectors such as Guillermo del Toro and Peter Jackson. Additional speakers include Mad Max: Fury Road artists Da- mian Martin and Adam Johansen, cofounders of Odd Studio, plus L’Oréal Paris Australia make-up director Rae Morris, whose credits include Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Marie Claire, and more than 100 fashion shows.
