Connect a red or other light colored alligator wire from the positive terminal of the battery to shere it says 12 V on the spike

Connect a black or other dark wire from the negative terminal of the battery to the “-” sign of the Spike

Connect a red wire from the M+ on the Spike terminal to one terminal of a motor and a black wire from the M- on the Spike to the other terminal of the motor (if you reverse these, the motor will just run in the reverse direction)

There are three small holes on the left side of the Spike. Run one wire from the center one of these holes to the column in which you have placed the LED. This will send the signal from the 555 to the spike., Run A black wire from the Y row to the far right small hole in the spike

Activate the 555 circuit in the usual way. You should hear the Spike click and its LED will light and the motor will come on
