Wedding Guidelines
CATERING INFORMATION All food & beverage must be catered through
Copper Mountain Resort utilizing Copper’s current
menu selections. All food and beverage pricing
will be confirmed no later than 6 months prior to
event date.
CHILD PRICING Buffets will allow for a 20% discount off listed menu
price for children 12 and under. See page 9 for
plated dinner options.
TAX, SURCHARGE & GRATUITY All of our pricing includes tax, surcharge and
gratuity. There are no hidden fees with our menu
items – what you see is exactly what you will be
billed for at the conclusion of your event.
FOOD & BEVERAGE MINIMUM Please consult with your Sales Manager to
determine the food and beverage minimum for
your reception location. Minimums vary by the
time of year and the day of the week. The
minimum F&B requirement is a minimum amount,
and shall be spent only on food and beverage
items such as hors d’oeuvres, meals and all
beverages. If the minimum is not achieved, you
will be responsible for the difference. Meeting the
F&B minimum will waive your
reception site rental fee.
GUARANTEES A definite attendance guarantee is required 72
business hours in advance of your event. Once
you have confirmed your guarantee, this number
will not be eligible for reduction. In the event that
we are not given an updated guarantee, the
number indicated on the signed contract will be
charged unless the actual attendance is greater.
MULTIPLE ENTRÉES Copper Mountain Resort will allow parties of 30 or
more people to order multiple entrées for a
plated function. We allow for a maximum of two
entrées plus a vegetarian selection. Multiple
entrée selections will be charged at the highest
priced selection.
CAKES Copper Mountain will be happy to design a
wedding cake of your choice. Wedding Cakes
may be brought in to our facility from an outside
vendor for a non-negotiable $300.00 service fee.
LINEN Copper Mountain will provide white or ivory table
linens and napkins at no charge.
CEREMONY SITE FEES Please review page 19 for further information.
TIME ALLOWANCES Grand Hall enforces an 11pm end time. Space is
available only during the times noted unless your
Sales Manager made written authorization stating
otherwise.
DEPOSITS A deposit schedule will be established with your
Sales Manager. The balance for all anticipated
charges based on the final menu, bar and
ancillary selections is due 30 days prior to group
arrival.
BANQUET CENTERPIECES In the event that the Bride & Groom do not wish
to provide their own centerpieces, the Copper
Mountain Banquet Department offers a
“standard” centerpiece of a clear cylinder with
river rocks and a floating candle on top of a
round mirrored tile. This Banquet centerpiece is
available for Grand Hall receptions only. No
modifications can be made to the cylinder
contents. The mirrored tile can be used without
the cylinder to enhance a centerpiece supplied
by the Bride & Groom.

Overview—The Dreaming Tree When Steve Reeder and Dave Matthews first met, they realized
they had a few things in common, like a passion for making wine
at least as strong as their passion for drinking it. For The Dreaming
Tree wines, they set out to create an approachable Cabernet
Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Red Blend, finding inspiration in
the down-to-earth characters and unforgettable flavors that
give California’s wine country its rare charm.
The Dreaming Tree Chardonnay Winemaking: Grapes were harvested at night and in the early
morning to keep the fruit cool. The wine was aged for nine
months in a combination of oak barrels and stainless steel.
Tasting Notes: The fruit jumps out of the glass and reminds you of
roasted pear or baked apple pie including big fruit and brown
spices that are backed by a distinct Central Coast citrus note.
The entry coats your mouth with these great flavors. Easy to
enjoy, this wine will bring the coastal wine adventure right to
your home. Food Pairing: Delicious on a warm summer night
with grilled seafood, seafood-and-chicken paella, fresh fava
bean salad, or buttered radishes and smoked salt.
The Dreaming Tree Cabernet Sauvignon The 2010 North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon continues the legacy
of The Dreaming Tree’s inaugural 2009 vintage, with elegant and

growing regions brings unique fruit character and structure—
including herbs and blackberry flavors from Sonoma County,
cherries and spicy notes from Mendocino County, and earth
tones and mouth filling tannins from Lake County.
The Dreaming Tree Crush Red Wine The Dreaming Tree Crush is a dark red wine blended from some
of the North Coast’s best varieties. These richly textured, fruit-
driven wines are all fermented and aged separately before
being individually assessed and integrated. A blend of the North
Coast’s nest varieties, this wine pulls you in with an oral berry
note and then jumps up with a raspberry jam.
The Dreaming Tree Pinot Noir The Dreaming Tree Pinot Noir captures the spirit of California’s
wine country with flavors and aromas of ripe cherry, wild
strawberry, and caramel, and complex but supple tannins, this
Pinot Noir has all the right notes.
Hayman & Hill Cabernet Sauvignon Vintage date 2015: On the nose there is ripe pie cherry,
strawberry, blackberry with some black olive and smoky, toasty
oak on the back side. The flavors are in the same direction with
a layer of smoke and toast throughout. The medium soft body
with very soft tannins is the hallmark of the vintage. The wine is
bold enough to accentuate pepper-crusted beef filet or skirt
steak, yet restrained enough to support lighter fare such as pork
tenderloin.

Simi Russian River Chardonnay Simi was founded in 1876 by Giuseppe and Pietro Simi. The
winery’s beautiful stone cellars and grounds in Healdsburg are a
Sonoma County icon. Our Chardonnay is brilliant golden-straw in
color with intriguing notes of spiced apple and rum raisin on the
nose. This wine has pleasant weight on the palate and delivers
an intricate balance of tropical fruit flavors and distinctive
mineral notes, reflecting the diverse selection of fruit within the
Russian River Valley. The rich acidity of this Chardonnay lends
itself to pairings with Mushroom Risotto, Crab Cakes, Roast

Landslide offers up evocative aromas of chocolate laced with

Ceremony
COPPER MOUNTAIN CHAPEL
The Copper Mountain Chapel provides a traditional
setting with a mountain feel for your wedding
ceremony. The Chapel offers spectacular views of
the Ten Mile Range. The sanctuary will comfortably
accommodate 90 adults. The Community Center,
which is attached, can provide 70 additional seats;
160 guests maximum.
Rental is based on usage up to 2 hours for your
wedding ceremony for set up and tear down plus a
wedding rehearsal on a separate day at no
additional charge. Rates are as follows:

An organ and a piano are available for use;
however, the wedding party must provide the
musicians. The house sound system is also available
for a fee. The house sound system can play both
CD’s and MP3’s.
SOUND SYSTEM $150.00
An honorarium is to be paid to the officiant
performing the wedding as a separate expense
from the Chapel and Community Center building
rental. Each officiant should be consulted for their
individual charge.
The Copper Mountain Chapel is a public place of
worship, used for many events, including your
wedding. Please be responsible in seeing that the
Chapel is left in a clean and orderly condition,
replacing furniture to its original position. Please do
not expect the clergy to take care of this for you.
Throwing rice or confetti is not permitted.
Photographers are asked to be sensitive to the fact
that the service is a time of worship and act
accordingly. Please DO NOT STAND ON THE PEWS
to get a better picture. This breaks the wood joints
and damages the pews.
Alcoholic beverages are permitted ONLY in the
Community Room. Smoking is not permitted
anywhere in the building

Copper Mountain Resort offers three different
locations if you wish to host your ceremony outside
of the Chapel. These ceremony sites are only
available in conjunction with your Copper Mountain
reception.
The Mezzanine, Copper Station
Located on the third floor of Copper Station, the
Mezzanine is a quiet and convenient location for
your special event. Overlooking the Grand Hall
with its views of Copper Mountain’s majestic golf
course, your guests will appreciate the rustic appeal
of the Rockies. We can accommodate up to 250
of your closest friends and family.
$500 site fee
Add a ceremony arch for an additional $100
Copper Creek Vista
Stage your wedding with a view of the incredible
Ten Mile Range. Set at the base of the Super Bee lift
and the Copper Creek Golf course, your guests will
feel the invigorating spirit of Copper Mountain.
Directly in front of Copper Station, your guests will
have no problem getting to the reception! In the
event of rain, we will relocate your ceremony to the
Mezzanine at no additional charge. 200 guests will
fit comfortably in this location.
$2,000 site fee
Solitude Station
Your guests will have the opportunity to ride on the
American Eagle chairlift which will take them to an
elevation of 11,200 feet above sea level. Enjoy the
panoramic view of the mountains around you. This
is a unique Rocky Mountain wedding experience
and a once in a lifetime photo opportunity. This
location will accommodate 240 guests. Copper
Mountain will provide a rain location in the event of
inclement weather.
