Use this appliance only for its intended purpose, as described in this Manual. 1 Safety Items 3 RIGHT WRONG WRONG Figure 2 • Periodically check the condition of the pressure regulator of gas cylinder. Make the replacement every 5 years or earlier, if necessary; • Check for wear of the plastic or metallic gas hose and its expiration date. Replace as needed. Never pass the plastic gas hose behind the range; • At each gas cylinder replacement, make sure there are no gas leaks in the hose, in the connection to the range and to the cylinder. Use soap sud only to check for gas leaks. • When frying foodstuffs be careful as the heated fat can ignite and the flames can cause personal injury and material damage. If the foodstuff being prepared ignites (catches fire), turn off the range burner. Use a large pan lid to smother the flames. Never throw water onto it, as hot fat can spread and cause burns. • Do not light range burners without cookware or other utensils placed on the grids. Decrease the flame height coming out from the burners, so they do not escape from the sides of the cookware or containers. 1.4 Safety Precautions Against Fires • When consumers choose the option of using foil on the table, care should be taken not to let pieces of foil block the air intake of the burner and the air outlet at the back of the range top. Should this occur, it will damage the correct operation of the range and may burn the cookware. There may also be a return of the flame and consequently damages to the cooking utensils and the range. 1.5 Safety Precautions on Using Aluminum Foil 1.2 Safety Precautions Against Accidents With the Oven Door RIGHT WRONG Oven burner knob Burner knob No. 5 Burner knob No. 4 Burner knob No. 3 Burner knob No. 2 5 3 Know Your Range 3.1 Main Components 3.2 Knob Panel Commands 4-Range Burners How the support is fit 5-Range Burners 1 2 6 8 9 10 7 5 7 Figure 17 Figure 18 Figure 19 Clamp Pressure regulator NBR 8613 NBR 8473 Tap 1 - Please strictly follow the gas regulations of your country to carry out a safe installation. The feet give stability, improve safety and facilitate the use and cleaning of your kitchen. Never use flames or sparks to locate gas leaks. This can cause a fire. Use soap suds. If bubbles form, it is possible to find the leak. • Do not heat food in completely closed containers as the heat increases the internal pressure. Consequently, an explosion may occur; • When replacing the cylinder, always keep the range knobs and the pressure regulator (tap) in the closed cylinder (off); • When you smell gas in your home, proceed with caution, following the instructions below: a) Do not turn on the electrical switches; b) Do not turn on any electrical equipment, not even fans; c) Open all doors and windows to increase the circulation of air in the environment; d) Close the pressure regulator of the cylinder (tap). In the case of piped gas, close the gas regulator. • Make sure that the gas leak does not come from a range knob that opened incorrectly. • Position the burner (mouth) correctly. Do not drop the burners as this may cause them to fail. • Mount the supports correctly. This prevents the top from scratching or cookware falling out during use. 1.6 Safety Precautions Against Explosions 1.7 Care With Burners and Supports ATTENTION! Prevent accidents. Keep packaging material out of children's reach. 1 - Identify the right, left, and rear feet before beginning the installation as shown in Figure 3. 2 - It takes two people to assemble the product. One of them will have to lean the stove towards him and the other will install the feet. (Figure 4). ATTENTION! We recommend that the installation be done before removing the tape that secures the glass cover. If you have already removed the strap securing the glass cover, remove the brackets and burners and store them in a safe place so that the glass cover does not open when assembling the feet. IMPORTANT! Avoid dragging the product. Imperfections on the floor may damage the feet and impair their stability. To move the product, always try to lift it with the help of someone.
