A. Installing SATA hard drive(s) in your computerInstall the hard drives/SSDs in theSATA/M.2 connectors on themotherboard.Then connect the powerconnectorsfromyourpowersupplytotheharddrives.
B. Configuring SATA controller mode in BIOS SetupMakesuretoconfiguretheSATAcontrollermodecorrectlyinsystemBIOSSetup.Step:Turnonyourcomputerandpress<Delete>toenterBIOSSetupduringthePOST(Power-OnSelf-Test).UnderSettings\IO Ports, setSATA Configuration\SATA ModetoRAID(Figure1).Thensavethesettingsandrestartyourcomputer.(IfyouwanttouseNVMePCIeSSDstoconfigureRAID,makesuretosetNVMe RAID modetoEnabled. Then set how the bandwidth of the PCIe slot you use is divided. Save the changes and exit BIOS Setup. )
C. UEFI RAID ConfigurationStep1:InBIOSSetup,gotoBoot andsetCSM SupporttoDisabled(Figure2).SavethechangesandexitBIOSSetup.
Delete RAID VolumeTo delete aRAID array, select the array to be deleted on theRAIDXpert2 Configuration Utility\Array Management\Delete Array screen.Press<Enter>onDelete Array to enter theDelete screen.Then setConfirm toEnabledandpress<Enter>onYes(Figure8).

Rebuilding an ArrayRebuildingistheprocessofrestoringdatatoaharddrivefromotherdrivesinthearray.Rebuildingappliesonlytofault-tolerantarrayssuchasRAID1andRAID10arrays.Toreplacetheolddrive,makesuretouseanewdriveofequalorgreatercapacity.TheproceduresbelowassumeanewdriveisaddedtoreplaceafaileddrivetorebuildaRAID1array.
