Conference 2008A week-end of lectures and workshops by international speakers

Saturday and Sunday 9/10 August at Marlborough9.00am to 6.30pm plus evening programmes Helicopter Flights on Monday 11th August

Reconnecting to the Sacred through Crop Circles

Wiltshire Crop Circle Study Group

This is the 13th Crop Circle Conference organised by the Wiltshire Crop Circle Study Group (WCCSG) and is unlike any other. Once again it will be held in the town of Marlborough, by the Neolithic monument Merlin’s Mound, which is placed amongst some of the most important sacred sites in Britain in the most active area for crop circles in the world.

The conference is timed to coincide with the high point of the crop circle season when the final, and most spectacular designs tend to appear. Whilst the focus is the study of crop circles, the event is interactive, with workshops, music, dowsing, labyrinth, as well as the opportunity to go and see the formations from the air in a helicopter on Monday.

The conference is designed to expand our knowledge of Crop Circles and related subjects; to explore different ways of looking at the world; to relax amongst like-minded people and enjoy a week-end around a unique and awesome phenomenon.

Circles of Knowledge

Page 3: Conference08

Fred Rusher – The Sacred Geometry of Crop Circles. Fred holds a BA in Philosophy and he has studied sacred geometry and The Keys of Enoch by J.J. Hurtak for over 20 years. Working with wood as a child in his father’s workshop inspired him to carve crop circle designs into wood trivets. This gave him many insights about the geometry of crop circles which he will be sharing in his humorous presentation.

Standing with Stones

Conference Speakers Saturday and Sunday*

Dr Dolly Knight and Jonathan Stromberg – “Water – Basis for Future Ecological Technology”. Dolly and Jonathan are the founders of the Centre for Implosion Research. Dolly holds a degree in Medicine and Homeopathy and Jonathan a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geology. Their aim is to realise pre-WWII pioneer Viktor Schauberger’s goals to develop technologies based on the understanding of water that are simple, pollution free and work in harmony with nature.

Nick Kollestrom – Mathematics of Crop Circles. Nick Kollestrom, MA Cantab PhD and FRAS, is a writer of several books on mathematics; a well known contributor to crop circle journals; a maths teacher in Surrey and holds a research fellowship at London University. He will focus on the two heptagon designs of 1998 as the pinnacle of Heptagon Geometry, that demonstrate patterns not hitherto apprehended by the human race.

Jaime Maussan – Extraordinary Events in the Mexican Sky. Well known journalist and broadcaster from Mexico interested in the paranormal, Jaime has been collecting large amounts of photographic evidence of unidentified flying objects in Mexico, a

particularly active area for these manifestations. He is also very interested in crop circles, having being told of their significanceby indigenous elders from the Mayan traditions.

Extraordinary Events

Glenn Broughton – Magic of Crop Circles. A qualified teacher, crystal healer and spiritual healer, Glenn found himself magnetically attracted to crop circles and sacred sites around the world and felt compelled to investigate them both experientially and theoretically. This journey, now in its 16th year, has become the vehicle through which he has learned about the world (seen and unseen) and developed his sense of spirituality.

Gary King – The Tao of Crop Circles. One of the three witnesses to the East Field event of 07/07/07, Gary was introduced to Crop Circles by a Chi Kung teacher in 1995. He was quickly made aware that there were many correspondences between Tai Chi and Crop Circles. Gary will explore parallels between the Crop Circles and the study and practice of the Chinese Alchemical Philosophy.

Pierre Beake – Light Anomalies in Crop Circles. Film maker based in the South of France who likes to collect and seems to attract anomalous images in and around powerful landscapes, Pierre has been coming to England for a few years to film crop circles. He has managed to capture these strange luminosities that seem to be attracted to the crop circle designs.

Shining Bear – Shamanic Music. Shining Bear’s greatest inspiration is to help the world understand more about the magical effects and the uses of the

didgeridoo. He has been playing it for the past 15 years, but only started to excel after working with his Australian Shamanic teacher who passed on some of the knowledge

required to help ‘Dream the World Alive’.

Francine Blake – Crop circles – Important Events for our Time. Founder and Coordinator of the Wiltshire Crop Circle Study Group, editor of The Spiral magazine and publisher

of the annual Crop Circle Calendar, Francine has lived in the Vale of Pewsey studying crop circles full time since 1992. Francine will explore the importance of the crop circle in this time of change.

expeditions to sacred sites around the world. ‘Standing with Stones’ is a journey from Ballowall Barrow in Cornwall, to over 100 sites through England, Wales,

Ireland, the Isle of Man, Scotland, finishing at The Tomb of the Eagles
