Symposia topics will include: • Novel synthetic strategies • Polymer characterization • Responsive polymers • Biomaterials • Interfacial phenomena • Soft matter • Mechanical/rheological properties of polymers and composites Conference events include pre-conference workshops on the topics of Biomaterials, Additive Manufacturing, Modeling and Simulation, and Career Readiness, a career fair, job interview opportunities with representatives from industry, government labs, and academic institutions, and visits to local sites such as the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad. Area attractions include Cedar Point amusement park, the Akron Art Museum, the Cleveland Zoo and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
