Dear friends, colleagues and radiology residents, It gives us great pleasure to invite you for the “IRIA Resident Education Program” – “IREP -2013” at Tumkur on 8th & 9th of June 2013. Concepts in Radiology curriculum and education have been expanding vastly. We the clinical radiologists are in an enviable and responsible position to guide the clinical colleagues in diagnosis and proper management of the sick individuals. We should have a sound knowledge of the anatomical, physiological, pathological, clinical and imaging aspects of diseases. In this direction IRIA has taken steps to educate the radiologists and residents by conducting “IREP” programs in different regions of the country. IRIA central committee in its annual GBM held at Indore has allotted a 2-day session for Tumkur, to be hosted by the Dept of Radio-Diagnosis, Sri Siddhartha Medical College. We are focusing on the Paediatric radiology and discussing many of the commonly encountered conditions in the paediatric practice routinely. Scientific contents will be useful for both the residents and practicing consultants as well. Experienced teachers from prestigious institutions will be interacting with the participants during the conference. We welcome you all to join our hands to make this educational program a success. Other sight seeing places are Devarayana durga, Yediur Siddhalingeswara temple, Seebi Narasimha temple, Keshava temple kaidala, Madhugiri fort, Marconahlli dam, Kalleshwara temple, Arallugupe.
