Voluntary School Contributions 2019 Voluntary school contributions allow the school to provide an enhanced level of resourcing for all students at Condong Public School. These key resources are highly important to the daily work of each student. The level of school contributions set by the Condong Public School P & C Association for 2019 is as follows: 1st child $49, 2nd child $34, 3rd child $26, 4th and subsequent children are free. It would be appreciated if contributions could be finalised by the end of this term. You can use the Parent Online Payment (POP) option.

Canteen News—NO CANTEEN ON FRIDAY THIS WEEK When ordering please ensure that lunch orders/recess orders are written on separate paper bags with child’s name/class clearly marked and money placed inside bags. It would be appreciated if orders are sent to school each Thursday. MORE VOLUNTEERS URGENTLY NEEDED TO ENSURE THE WEEKLY RUNNING OF THE CANTEEN. The Canteen Roster for Week 10 of Term 3 is as follows:

Friday, 27 September NO CANTEEN (PROBLEM WITH FREEZER—NO STOCK AVAILABLE)

Kindergarten 2020 We are currently taking enrolment applications for students wishing to start Kindergarten in 2020. Do you know of a family member or

friend that has a child ready for school next year? If so, please ask them to contact Mrs Cantwell to arrange for an enrolment form.

As many of you have no doubt heard we have been celebrating Fruit and Veg month with lots of fun activities, discussions and tastings

occurring in our rooms. Only 5% of NSW children eat enough vegetables so we have been discussing the benefits of health eating and

encouraging students to bring along vegetables as well as fruit for our Crunch and Sip break each morning. To celebrate the end of fruit

and veg month we will be having a special whole school Crunch and Sip tomorrow with a variety of fruits and vegetables on offer for all

students to try, kindly donated by Coles Murwillumbah. It should be a fun way to try some new fruits and vegetables and celebrate

leading a healthy eating lifestyle.
