CONCRETE MIXES

® The concretes produced by Fagnano Concrete comply with the technical standards issued by decree 14/1/2008 and the Guidelines issued by the Central Technical Service of the Presidency of the Council of Public Works, in particular concerning the technical procedures used in the production of ready-mixed concrete produced with an industrialised method and process in compliance with the requirements of the project, through careful checking at every stage up to delivery on site for the installation. The concretes produced by Fagnano Concrete respect the fundamental aspects of quality and reliability, an important aspect in the structural safety of the works. These requirements are related to packaging, transport and checking of the concrete produced, aspects not always adequately dealt with, if not totally neglected, in the standard practice of carrying out construction works. The checking of factory production conforms with current law, with FPC certiﬁcation issued by an authorised Body. The checking of factory production is performed through: 1. Functional roles. Staff with appropriate knowledge, training, experience and aptitudes to carry out their role 2. Requirements for concrete with guaranteed performance and required composition. 3. A production system able to ensure homogeneity of the product with checking programmes of the dosing and calibration equipment, of minimum frequencies, and weighing tools. Use of software suitable for moisture assessment of the aggregates and the respect of tolerance limits of the dosed materials. 4. Transportation and delivery carried out with concrete mixers and pumps capable of meeting any timing and quantity supply requirements. Quality control and evaluation of conformity carried out by highly qualiﬁed staff and the availability of an internal laboratory properly equipped with suitable instruments to check the quality level of the production and provide useful information to the user.
