INTRODUCTION
This is a slide set for the beginning conversation with boards of directors intent on starting a new museum.
It should lead to sober reflection and skepticism followed by realistic assessment of all data.

Gather: Everything that can be learned of citizens within one
hour drive time. Every statistic available about every attraction in one
hour drive time including staffing and operating budget.
Vigorously test salary structure and attendance income against current market place.
