The advantage of this material is a stable coefficient of friction in variable atmospheric conditions and high thermal resistance. FR513 meets the requirements of Code UIC 541-4 and TSI WAG. The freight cars equipped with FR513 brake shoes fulfill the requirements of TSI NOISE.

It does not show aggressiveness to the anti-friction material and ensures quiet braking without sparking. A stable coefficient of friction and low wear level even for high loads and unit pressures.
