Jason Carter

British guitarist Jasson Carter has performed in more than 70 countries, mainly as a solo guitarist. His compositions are influenced by a unique blend of styles and cultures and with alternate tunings, he is able to capture a vast array of colours and atmospheres

Jason is commited to using music in situations and areas such as North Korea, Iran, Northern Ireland, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain where there is conflict, as music, and in his case, non-verbal

music can be a magical bridge builder between cultures and individuals

Jason has recorded 11 albums, for EMI (USA), Bohemian Productions (USA), Sony (India), ARC Music and ASV Records UK. His latest disc for Naim Audio (UK), the 'Helsinki' Project, is the result of a three year collaboratton between Jason and other international artists Jason has also appeared alongside luminaries such as

John Schofield, John Paul Jones (Led Leppelin), Ozzy Ozbourne, Joe Satriani, Larry Coryell, Steve Morse, Hariprasad Chaurasia and Trilok Gurtu

In 2001 he received a Music Award from the Crown Prince of Bahrain alongside 4 traditional Bahraini artists (Pearl Divers). Jason also received an Honorary Diploma from the Government of North Korea during his visit there in April 2007, in the name of 'peace and friendship'.

Bai Yun 白雲

Bai Yun (Carl) is a songwriter and producer signed to a major record label's publishing arm. Winner of MusicAid International Music Awards 2007 Best Songwriter Award with his song, “Cloudy Sky", which to date has been recorded by various artistes outside of Singapore. Bai Yun not only composes but is also a prolific lyrics writer for English songs in the American market.

Syltra Lee

At age 17 this aspiring singer-song writer captures the attention with her tidal voice, and has inspir-ted some-if not legions-with her fervent, musically-encompassed being Her passion for music goes back to when she was 13 where she has since been strumming note after note akin to a delicately woven a piece of art. Syltra enjoys both the camaraderie of big-scale concerts and intimate acoustic sessions

Her first performing stint was at the Orchard Jam 06, which has spurred her to set a performing crite-rion for herself and to give her best during every show. As an up and coming performing artiste,

Syltra hopes to her music with the world. She admits to feeling an adrenaline rush when knowing people enjoy watching her devote her soul in a sonorous display of mind, heart and sound. Syltra hopes you will allow a moment to sit back and listen to the delightfully rotund voice that will pleasantty envelope your senses.


Andrew Yeo Andrew Yeo is the Worship Director for Generations Band and Pastoral Assistant for Generations Youth Ministry, Cornerstone Community Church. He is the Coordinator for Worship for Ignite, a National Youth Network of about 50 over churches from different denominations in Singapore with a vision to impact young people and help youth ministries to grow.

A gifted songwriter, Andrew has written songs both in English and Mandarin Many of his songs have been translated into different languages and have impacted audiences in Singapore and alt over Asia in countries such as Indonesia, Myanmar, China, Taiwan, India and the Philippines. He is now signed under Integrity Music Asia, a well known Christian Label in the Christian Music Industry.

He is also a Youth Counselor and Guitar Instructor working with many schools in Singapore

Flame 3

Flame 3 was formed in early February by its leader Jaybon. The band members comprise of Jaleii(Vocals), Bani Hidir(Guitar & Drums), Jaybon(Bass and Romey(Guitar) who are musicians and songwriters and they are currently recording their debut Malay album which will be released in November 08.

Adam Lee Adam Lee is a Singaporean music arranger/producer/composer and multi-instrumentalist. He studied jazz guitar in Australia for 5 years and considers the guitar his main instrument. He has arranged/produced and toured with Asian pop stars tike Stephanie Sun, Andy Lau, Tanya Chua, Sany Lam, Jolin Tsai, Landy, Vincy Chan, A'Mei, F.I.R... etc amongst many others. He was the music director for Salty Yeh's "Now's My Prime" world tour concerts. He has also performed with international artistes like Stephen Bishop, Laura Fygi, Marilyn Mcoo, The Temtations, The Commodores and Greg Walker just to name a few.

In addition, he also composes music for TV and internet and clients like Caltex, Sony Ericsson, Nokia, OSIM, MacDonald's, Singapore Tourist Promotion board and many more. Some recent films he has been involved in include "Warlords" and "Be With Me". He is also a music consultant whose clients include Nokia amongst other companies.

Adam is also actively involved in the jazz scene. He has performed in Singapore's MOSAIC festival, Australia's Gienelg Jazz Festival, Nannup Music Festival and Barossa Music Festival. Although a less active performer now. he still makes occasional appearances at music festivals in Singapore. All Rights Reserved, National Library Board, Singapore

Tribe

Shortly after their formation in 2000, TRIBE w o n a national band competit ion: JUARA. Later in the year, they represented Singapore in a regional band competit ion. Once again, they emerged as champions. They produced an EP - PELITA in 2001 and a year after, they were signed by Warner Music and released the album, MATA SATU. This album won 'best sound engineered album' in the prestigious A N U G E R A H INDUSTRI MUSIK 2003/04. Currently, TRIBE is on working on their second album.

Razzle PlayDreams are not enough to make things happen. It takes sustained effort to turn any dream into reality. As such, RazzlePlay was formed.

RazzlePlay implies boisterous fun and attitude and they will surprise you with their concoction of pop and rock elements. Razzleplay has done gigs and shows at the IMH's Volunteer Appreciation Party, Yao Gun Muchuan 3, Radio1003 : pluck up!, Singapore Arts Cafe's 'Last Showcase Session', Singapore Medical Awards Presentation etc. Razzleplay loves a live audience as it allows them to party with the crowd.

RavenRaven comprises of 5 experienced musicians: Khairul Anwar (Lead vocal & guitar), Zainol Olum (2nd guitar), Omar Haron (keyboards), Zed Zaini (Bass) & Rizal Abdl Jamal (Drums).

Raven band was formed in 2006 when Khairul Anwar & Zoul reunited with old friends at GREENDOOR STUDIOS where they were stilt writings songs like they used to do. Shortly after they came out with a Rock album titled "SEMBOYAN" which means siren. This album was a collective effort of Executive producer GREENDOOR studios, Kuzairi Sapari, Andry Kamsani, Aryan Siswanto, Azhar Yusof, Joana Baijuri (Sound Salvation), Zoul Music Publishing, JEMS promotions, MUSIKA Records, Maria, Jon Ramlan and Sham78.

Diverse songwriters whom inject colour and vigour into this CD are people like Zoul, Rauf, Kebayan, JaffaHaron, AndryKamsani. Songs like Nyalakan, Bagaikan Theory, & GELORA JIWA have been on the top ten list in radio RIA 89.7 FM.
