Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) PSUT was founded in 1991 in accordance with the laws and regulations for private universities by decree from the Council of Higher Education. The establishment of the University came in response to the demand to keep pace with the needs of Jordan based on socio-economic development policies. It is a private university specializing in modern technologies, particularly the fields of Information Technology, Electronics, Energy, Communications, and Business. Moreover, it is a non-profit university, owned by the Royal Scientific Society, the leading applied research center in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. PSUT Talented Office In the light of increasing interest in nurturing gifted and outstanding students, and the accelerated rate of growth in knowledge and sheer volume of information in our age, the age of knowledge and skill, Princess Sumaya University for Technology intends to establish an Office for the Care of Gifted Students with a view to honing them and helping them to become trained, qualified individuals, in addition to achieving the University's objectives of excellence and innovation. It has become clear that the nurturing of outstanding and gifted students and the appreciation of their capabilities is an imperative and important strategy in the upbringing of youth in today's societies.
