RODECON ENGINEERING was founded in 2000 as a Mechanical Engineering Firm and has become a

Mechanical Engineering and Related fields in diverse industry sectors has driven the company’s

COMMUNICATION NETWORK

G.S. turnkey installations

• The rapid expansion and strong focus on quality, made it possible for us to work with

companies such as Vodacom ,MTN and Cell-C.

• RODECON’s ability to deliver and the knowledge to understand the business of GSM has

made it possible for use to have a long working relation with MTN, Vodacom and Cell-C.

• We have build a numerous site (full and share) in the north of Gauteng and the Cape

Province.

Optic Fiber Stringing/Laying /Splicing

• We have in recent months been involved with Huawei Technologies as their preferred

subcontractor in their Eastern and Western Gautrans Optic Fiber projects between Pretoria

and Kempton Park. Our quality and high standard delivery of works has been our

involvement being extend to the Long haul Optic Fiber Project from Megawatt Park to

Bloemfontein.

• In the Gauteng region we sub-contracted for SK Telecom (Pty) Ltd which is a main contractor

for Telkom SA. We’ve done trenching and laying of pipes whereby we build manholes at

certain intervals depending on the length of the trench in and around Gauteng. This work

included crossing of roads and all along the walkways, lifting of paving and concrete slabs.

Inside of 110mm sleeve we fit three 32mm red pipe for the protection of the optic fiber. This

work is our main area of responsibility for all the time SK Telecoms (Pty) Ltd is contracted to

Telkom SA.

• Another of our responsibilities is the jointing of copper and splicing of optic fiber
