The firm’s business philosophy is to establish itself as a key role player in the promotion of legally sound, public-private partnerships which focuses on sustainable socio-economic development for the general upliftment in South Africa, whilst being 100% black-owned.


We wish to establish our profile by:

• Assisting Government Departments, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO’S) and Parastatals at all levels in attaining judiciously acceptable management standards for the effective exercise of the developmental mandate of improving the standards and in ensuring the compliance with the established constitutional and legislative framework.

Since the establishment of the firm we actively adopted the strategy that we would encourage participation at all levels within the firm, of all designated groups, and to identify and develop individuals who subscribe to the same value system. Our primary goal, however, is to render services of the highest standards to our clients, and thus employ only efficient and competent staff. We take a firm, principled stance that we would not form partnerships with demographically, politically correct firms (fronting) and/or individuals merely with a view to securing work for the firm. Our firm is a recognised and experienced specialist in all aspects of Labour Law, we emphasise on practical, proactive and cost effective advice. Work will be conducted according to a project plan, with a project schedule and fee structure which will be submitted to the client for approval. Services include:

The debt collection department has adopted an approach to ensure that clients do not incur unnecessary costs and that time and resources are not exhausted on irrecoverable debts. We have and currently do debt collection for companies such as Rand Mutual Assurance, Department of Water and Sanitation and Westonaria Local Municipality. We currently dealing with a debt book of more than 2.2 Billion Rands with excellent recovery.

Activities include:• An analysis of the current debt situation of the client is undertaken;• Drafting of comprehensive strategy adopted to suit clients’ needs;• Strategy is implemented on a case-to-case basis.

Our Firm has installed Lexpro and Debt Col, Practice Manager Pro and Ghost Convey in order to more effectively manage the Debt Collection process. We are in use of XDS and CPB for tracing debtors which has brought us tremendous results. We are also currently registered with Transunion.

LOCALITY, OFFICE INFASTRUCTURE AND PROFESSIONAL TEAM

We have offices situated in Johanesburg, Cape town, Port Elizabeth, Kimberly and King Williams town.

We are using Lexpro and Practice Manager Pro as our Litigation systems, which are installed in our computers as well as Ghost Practice and Ghost Convey to assist in other fields of law. We currently use Debt Col and Transunion as our debt collection system. Our office has an in house legal library comprising bound volumes of Caselaw and law reports. We also use Docex (36 Halfway House) to make the process of sending and receiving documents more efficient.

We have a total number of 30 laptops and 12 printers. Our fibre connection is supplied by Telkom and Mytelnet. We have a secured server: Windows Storage Server - 016 Standard, 64-bit operating system that works as a back up for all our data. Our is email provider is Jasper.

We have an active telephone line including an active internet calling line with Teleforge. We currently have the aid of 2 active company vehicles for daily office use.

AA Solwandle Attorneys have an exceptional team consisting of various skills and experience. The office is headed by Mr Solwandle assisted by three Professional Associates who strictly work according to the requirements of the Law Society, eight Professional Assistants, four Candidate Attorneys, eight administrative officers (who also fulfil the role of call centre agents) as well as two Conveyancing secretaries and one Litigation Secretary.
