Metaltech Motor Bodies Pvt Ltd with its plants at IMT Manesar, Gurgaon and GC Bawal

(Haryana) are a constituent company of ‘Metaltech’ and an ISO – 9001: 2008 organisation

undertaking variety of automobile fabrication work for over two decades. We are registered

with Small Scale Industries Corporation, (SSI), National Small Scale Industries Corporation (NSIC),

Director General of Quality Assurance (DGQA), Vehicle Research and Development

Establishment (VRDE / DRDO), Defence Lab Jodhpur (DLJ), 510 Army Base Workshop, Director

General of Supplies & Disposals (DGS & D) and Bharat Electronics Ghaziabad and Pune. We

regularly fabricate customized LCVs - 207 Vajra : Anti Riot Control Vehicle for TATA Motors Ltd.

Metaltech is a national name with a long history of consolidation

with the country’s elite Research and Development Organization the

DRDO in development and productionisation of Riot Control Vehicle

VAJRA for the various State Police and Rapid Action Force.

During DefExpo 2010 we became the first company in the world to

come up with the Anti Terrorist Assault Cart – ATAC a Bullet Proof

Electric Cart for hotel corridors and small places, where

conventional vehicles can not find access. The concept vehicle post

26/11 was a hit on the international arena on the web and media.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Metaltech Motor Bodies became a reality in a small measure in

the year 1992 and was located at Mahipalpur, New Delhi. The initial workforce

comprised of 16 workers and management personnel. The early beginning was

fabrication of hard topping of Gypsy. With the zeal and determination of the pio-

neers we were able to achieve many goals in our early days to excel in fabrication with containers, buses

and specialist vehicles.

The company was rechristened as Metaltech Motor Bodies Pvt Ltd wef 1st April 2006

and production centre was located at Manesar, the industrial hub of Gurgaon (Haryana).

THE FABRICATION PLANTS

Manesar Plant

Industrial area IMT Manesar located south of Gurgaon was suitable

to provide a well laid out fabrication plant in an area of 1800 sq m. The

administrative and control staff occupy adjoining office area overlooking

the fabrication floor. The basement offers adequate space for undertaking

specialized tasks with critical materials. It also includes space for storage.

The ground floor offers 1083 sq m of working space which is well lit and

ventilated with easy access. Plant for dust free painting is one of our prime

assets. Plant and Machinery required for undertaking heavy machining

jobs are readily available. Adequate Power from the State Electricity and

Power Back up of 62 KVA is sufficient to run the unit almost full volume.

FABRICATION PLANT AT BAWAL

The second fabrication unit of Metaltech is located at

Growth Centre Bawal (Dist Rewari ) about 80 kms from New Delhi on the

Delhi – Jaipur Highway. This has a built up space of approx 5000 sq m.

Fabrication of Bus bodies are a prime objective at this facility.

The plant at Bawal has a Rolling Mill , an extended full length Paint Booth, Phosphating

Plant, state of the art Shower Test facility and sufficient space around the workshop shed

to undertake misc work. Adequate Power back up and space for storage of stock is

available. A two story administrative portion overlooks the shop floor for adequate

monitoring of work with CCTV as added feature. Adequate overhead lighting and sun

windows are available for extended hours of working. All requisite gadgets and tools incl

heavy duty presses , welding, bending, cutting and other machines are available.

This plant was inaugurated on 04 April 2009.

ISO Recognition

Emphasizing on quality and procedures in every aspect of

production, we were able to show our mettle and achieve a major

recognition in 2003 when the ISO 9001: 2000 certification was granted to us for

the first time. TQCS International Private Limited have verified through

surveillance audit that our company involved in fabrication of Motor Bodies

is understanding compliance of quality management system as required

essential for continuation of the validity of the ISO Certification.

We now hold ISO 9001 : 2008 certification.

OUR EARNEST COMMITMENT

Our capabilities range from customized Passengers Buses, Cash Vans,

Utility Vehicles, Specialized Vehicles, Disaster Management Control Vehicle

and Armoured cars for VVIPs. In the past we have provided over 200 Riot Con-

trol Vehicle - VAJRAs, approved design of DRDO ( we being technology

recipients); to various State Police and PMF.

Metaltech has been able to master complete integrated solution with its

considerable expertise and experience acquired through design detailing and

solidifying production parameters on various prime movers. These vehicles are

a pride possession of Metaltech technology and perseverance shown by the

dedicated team of technocrats and craftsman. We undertake a rigorous

management approach towards problem solving during product development

and after sales support.

WORKING FOR THE DEFENCE SERVICES

Meeting applications for Defence has been accomplished by us with strict quality

control parameters being vetted by reps from DGQA of the Ministry of Defence.

The Defence Services, especially Army and the Para military

forces have been looking for various solutions for the safety of their

troops in insurgent North and naxalite prone eastern states. We had

fabricated the Bullet Proof Troop Carrier under the name

SCAV - Section Carrying Armoured Vehicle during DefExpo 2008

and again in 2010 as a different variant.

Workshop were fabricated by us. A set of these vehicles rolled on the

A banking solution with onboard ATM and / or

Mobile Banking facility has been created for

various Banks : as per their specific

requirements with an air conditioned ambience.

Banking is now a different experience - being just

around the corner as the Bank moves nearer to its

customers !

This vehicle is designed and developed to act as first responder at any disas-

ter site and commence immediate action of rescue and relief. The vehicle is in-

stalled with all types of equipment for handling fire, flood, house collapse, traffic

accidents or any other natural or man made calamity. This is a customized solu-

tion which can be fabricated on variety of prime movers.

Transportation of the trained Dogs of the K - 9 group of the

elite National Security Guard is being managed with this state of the art vehicle

which has adequate space for housing four dogs with their handlers .

It can even undertake medical emergencies for the canine occupants.

The self contained AC vehicle is a unique piece by itself in the country.
